I've got orthodics... paid over $600 to get them right. The orthodics also have a special splint in it to reduce the movement in the joints for the arthritis... but the chilly weather just doesn't help @Dimity .
Feet are so important... it makes everything harder if you have sore feet.

Another thing is weight. Excess weight puts pressure on sore feet.
Thanks for the reminder. I'll start focusing on using my stand-up desk and work with the weight I think @Dimity

I found a stand up desk really helped with gut issues and general well being @tyme... hope standing is OK for your poor feet. Take care and keep warm

@Dimity thats really great you've come this far on your diabetes journey. In the past I have lost lots of weight drinking celery juice. For the past 7-8 weeks have been back on celery juice again. Four bunches of celery is enough to last me a week. I use all the stalks and every part of the celery to make it economical. From memory it took me 3 months to establish significant weightloss and reduction in my size on celery juice. Another thing I do is listen to a Diabetes I and II audio. Started doing it several months ago and my fasting blood glucose has come down. Some people have had complete diabetes reversal listening to the audio. Thought I'd pass along 🙂

Hi @Shaz51
My name is cricket and I have suffered from type 2 diabetes for approximately 20 years. The last 10 years I've had to take insulin to control it. Your right it is not easy to live with and manage diabetes. There is so much we need to know to stay healthy or as healthy as we can. Did you get a referral to see a diabetic educator. You can also get a diabetic healthcare plan done for free through your doctor.
They can help you a lot especially in the beginning because it can be daunting at first. Hopefully they can help you control your glucose levels with out having to start insulin. In my personal experience it became harder to manage it once on insulin.
I understand you fully when you talk about mental health issues making it much harder to keep you weight down especially with some of the medications we take.
It's hard I know but you can achieve promising results if you get educatored about diabetes, learn what you can and can't eat and get lots of support from your family and Friends. I'm happy being here for encouragement and support/help if you need me.

Had one result @Shaz51, leg pain seems to be cramps not thrombosis. Waiting on heart results.
Do you still see dieticians? It's been a while for me. Time to try some new recipes.
