Mr shaz's mental health team said to apply for jobseeker too but Mr shaz is soo worried about it all 

We have not worked since the first week of September

That's tough @Shaz51 . It's not as though things are getting cheaper, right? I guess it's about going for whatever you can right now to help with the financial side of things. I recognise it's not the easiest right now.

I am on  part DSP pension @tyme and I try to assure him that we are OK but he is soo worried and I wonder if he will end up in hospital again soon 

He has just had his plaster off his hand

It's hard @Shaz51 I don't think there's a sickness allowance any more to bridge the gap. Does JobSeeker cover you if you're not well short-term?

My sister has had a string of serious health problems and accidents and her mh isn't good either.

I need to share this because this is HUGE for me
9am Bunnings this morning had 2 of my 3 kids in tow.
I LOST MY WIFES CAR KEYS.
IN BUNNINGS.
and I feel like that would be enough to send anybody in a panic, as well as having two whiny kids that were like dad when are we going dad I can’t carry this anymore I’m bored, I actually didnt panic once, I could hagw given that we only have one car right now so nobody would have been able to pick us up… but i was like ok well I know the aisles we were in so they have to be here somewhere right?Searched the the kids pockets, took their shoes off, all of it and nope.
even asked the Bunnings people for help.
And guess where they were, in the ignition of the car still, in full view in car park
I can’t believe I didn’t just freak out completey
I actually was rational and calm
