@Former-Member hope you're feeling rested today after such a huge daily with blood tests, internet learning, and forum work. I'm exhausted just reading this! Did you manage to study?
@Shaz51 I hope you've been kind to yourself around all the work you do, as well as everything going on with yourself and Mr Shaz.
@Former-Member the disputes with your grocery suppliers sound very frustrating. Apricot slice does sound delicious though. May I ask what book you borrowed?
@Oaktree wow, terrific job. Its always daunting tackling a big mess. I hope you feel fulfilled and have had a pleasant day.

Hey there @Xibon 🙂🌺
Thanks for the message 🙌🏻🙂
How’s your week going? I hope all is well 🌺
I had a bit of a break today in between tasks, which was nice 🙂
Managed to get some study done yesterday into today 🙌🏻
I spent a bit of time sanitising and de-bugging after the little rescue cat at my mechanics wanted a cuddle…despite gloves, mask, shield, and a spray of sanitiser for clothing that I use, I kinda have to be cautious with this immune disease, so the impromptu couple of hours doing that step-wise sanitation process when back at home was a break from the usual routine 🙂🌺
I hope you have a lovely evening 💜🌺

Well tomorrow (Wednesday) I'm finally doing the Work Induction @TAB @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Oaktree @Glisten
- For the Gardening Job (employer) that put me through a "Disability Services specific Hoisting" Course (last week) in the name of "Manual Handling".
When the Course had very little actual Manual Handling in it - & nothing relating to Gardening Manual Handling (my Job).
Instead it was all Training in how to use a Hydraulic Hoist, or a Hoist for transferring clients (which I will not be doing when I'm Gardening).
This has been a very long drawn-out process (since Letter of Job Offer) - Lasting 5 weeks, over a month.
First the employer could not decide when my Start Date would be, then they kept on Adding more & more Training Requirements - Courses & requirements that had never been mentioned at my Job Interview.
- A First Aid Course & Certificate.
- This Manual Handling Course, which was primarily Hoist Training (for a Gardening Job).
- 5 different Work Apps, to run their Work processes - Which have taken many hours of my time (& effort) Unpaid to Problem-Solve Logins & to Set Up.
All this before I have been given any work (Client Shifts), before I have earned any $$ & have not yet been paid a Cent.
Totally Overwhelming, before I've even started - & having to manage exacerbated Dissociation (Complex PTSD Symtoms) as a result, for the past few days.
Simply to maintain some Baseline Level of Functioning & Awareness.
So lets hope that this Job now actuallly gives me some Work, & somehow supplies sustainable & reliable work routine & working hours - When my last Job did not.
Adge

What an immense journey @Adge to get to the start line..! I’m really sorry to hear there’s been so much to do and worry about sorting out prior to getting to this point 💜🌺
I hope that you do get a start with this new employer, and they see your value, all your effort, and your commitment to get to this point, and give you the work you’re looking for 🌺
Are you alright regarding the cPTSD? ❤️🩹 I hope you have some resources and tools you can use to help those symptoms settle down 💜
Holding hope with you that this new job is a much better match, Adge; please do keep us updated how you go 🌺🙂

My day is going well thank you @Shaz51 🙂🌺
I’m sorry to hear Mr Shaz has a sore swollen face - I hope it settles down soon and he can feel more comfortable 🌺
I’m sorry also to hear you didn’t get much sleep - that sounds a bit unusual..your leg symptoms.
Just checking if your sugars are ok? (thinking: neuropathy, from one CKD’er /neuropathy risk person to another 🙂🌺)
I hope you can get a bit of time to rest today 💜🌺

RLS -- Restless legs syndrome symptoms I am thinking 🤔 @Former-Member
Sugar level was 9.6 at 11pm

Yeah - it also crossed my mind, too @Shaz51 💜🌺
I used to work in the field of sleep testing, and we used to test people for all sorts of sleep problems (including RLS)..
Please do correct me if I’m wrong, however that sugar reading is an improvement compared to previously?
💜🙂🌺

You are correct @Former-Member , with taking 8 units of insulin injections every morning and night has brought my sugar levels down 🙂
