You obviously got a few things done today @TAB. Yes its rather hot outside where you are. You got until January to get the car in tiptop shape for your journey to Canberra. I'm glad you are celebrating xmas in TAB style.
I've just put a load of washing through this afternoon to put on the line tomorrow. It will be ok overnight - its a cheats way of getting washing on the line quickly the following morning without having to wake up early to put a load through. It never smells mouldy
My new treat recipe turned out well. I sampled some and it tasted lovely. Just subbed cocoa powder for carob powder as caffeine gives me hot flushes. I do love cocoa but realise I can't have it. I used to be a coffee drinker but had to give that up under doctors recommendations

Well I better get going, its getting late. Great to hear you made some interesting progress with the car.
Ciao for now!

..why is cocoa bad ? @SmilingGecko yes just need to change oil hopefully tomorrow and have a go at gluing headliner thing back up will uses pins and staples to hold it. tried blu tac years ago, didnt work. car sitting in sun stuffs the glue that hold s material on and right next to windscreen where gets super hot. didnt work first time as wrong idea, too weak, plus had like loose crumbs everywhere so if it stuck, stuck to crumbs. will try again soon

Today mum and I went to the shop to get a few more groceries for Christmas 🎄. Came home to mum's place unpacking groceries , then I vaccumed the house. Sat down for a bit then made lunch for mum and myself.
I then rested for a while and read my book, Vietnam the Australian war by Paul Ham. Then mum requested chocolate magnums and killer pythons, so I was off to the shop again. And I only had to do 6 laps of the carpark to get a spot, but I wasn't in a hurry, I spent $50.00 on lollies for mum.
Merry Christmas guy's 🎅 🎄 ❤️

Why is cocoa bad @TAB? Well I get hot flushes after eating it. Its like having menopause all over again!!! 😜 I did read caffeine can cause hot flushes but haven't had caffeine in years and cocoa is caffeinated. So I had to stop using it. My diabetes educator also told me to stop having it for that reason.
Its nice having it for taste but it does something to me have heard similar with other people online. I did also read that cocoa prices are also going to go up and its going to be hard to source in future with food shortages. Can't recall the exact details about that situation but that is what I read.
Yes change the oil and pump up tires TAB, get your car ready to go. I don't know enough about your conundrum with staples and pins but hopefully you can fix it. It will be a nice drive to go to Canberra. I did watch a RACV car DVD years ago which went into detail on how to take care of your car. I once knew how to change tires etc. Could change my own tire in the middle of nowhere do oil and know how much to pump up tires based on specs tucked in my car door. I was really independent and had a lot of skills on the road. Not now! lol. I wonder if the RACV put out an updated video on how to look after your car? It would be interesting to watch.

thats good that you could do those things @SmilingGecko
..you know the lining on the 'ceiling' /roof above head in car ? well its fabric glued onto moulded plastic for shape in factory. after so many years in sun, fabric on mine is hanging down behind windscreen like 40mm it should follow moulding, it is separating from it. read online cops defect you for it if they notice it
yes, sure heaps of videos on fb/youtube incl some silly ones lol

Sounds like you're having a good time of cleaning, tidying and cooking, @SmilingGecko. It's always satisfying when it's done. I need music to accompany my efforts. I hope you're walking too?

Sounds like WA is a hot place to live, @TAB? Everyone is being so productive. I'm concentrating on learn-to-drive videos at the moment in preparation for my car's arrival. I have a very rusty driver's licence.

Yes have got a lot done around the house @Historylover. I have to bake some bread today as there is none left in the freezer. Have to put laundered clothes on the line. The Sun is forming a favorable angle to Saturn today which is good for timekeeping/scheduling. Everything should run smoothly today with a supportive backstop. Did not walk yesterday but will be out there today! The weather was kind of hot earlier on in the week so I struggled to walk in the heat. If I don't walk I'll still use my chi exercise machine instead which is the equivalent of walking one hour and thirty minutes. But yes going to aim for another walk this afternoon - thanks for keeping me on track. I hope you are doing well. Looking forward to Xmas
