@Glisten please go to the Diabetes thread I have put up a link for Weight Watchers Diabetic Treats which includes the Weetbix Moccha slice. I'm going to give some of the other recipes a go. I have double checked with diabetes dieticians in the past and the things I've tried so far from them they were ok with

Good stuff @Historylover I had a rest this weekend and plan on getting out for another walk this afternoon. I'm still walking. How are your feet going btw? You mentioned you had severe pain in your feet and find it hard to walk

My feet aren't as bad as they were, @SmilingGecko.
By the way, I have just come home from indoor bowls and have to say that it looks like I have found my niche. They really are a nice bunch, and touching is now seen as friendly as I trust them. I'm feeling rather pleased. It seems that I am sporty but not musical. If I can trust my body, I'll also be looking into tennis next year, or badminton or table tennis if it gets too hot. It's an activities group which has an array of sports and more sedate activities. Lots to choose from and fun. Wheee for me!😊

Yeah thats good @Historylover I'm really happy for you. Its hard joining new groups but it seems like its working out. The people all sound welcoming, nice and friendly. When we have been hurt by people our trust becomes broken and its hard to move with new people and groups after that. Well, things have shifted you've achieved what you wanted and its certainly paying off. Nobody deserves to be alone. I hope you are surrounded by nourishing friendships and that support and care for you into the future.

I did a few half hearted job applications on Friday night (achievement in itself - I’ve been getting super worked up about work in general and applying for jobs makes me nervous)
Monday morning I get a phonecall asking if I’d be interested in a job interview at one place this week. Boosted my confidence so much 😊

Congratulations @_PixieSolstice_
I hope it is a job that gives you wonderful things.
Job applications are tedious at best. Doing more than one job application is a full time job.

I must update my initial exuberance, @SmilingGecko. I came home from indoor bowls on a natural high but overnight it has mellowed somewhat. How to understand people or play them at their own game? You would not believe how nice they are being to me and I've never experienced that before. This is how my life was supposed to be. I actually fit in and am enjoying myself, and you cannot imagine how good that feels, but I grow sceptical. What is their game?
Whenever I send out information that needs updating, I do so. I'm not just being gloomy. I actually feel good and if they are playing me at least I'm also getting something out of it for a while.
Have a super day, @SmilingGecko. Thanks for being an ear.
