actually warm and sunny here @tyme am in Mid North SA, been here since May. bought house with inheritance.1955 2br public housing houso house on a huge block. Very small town, smaller than I realised at first. So that's been keeping me busy trying to get insulation in ceiling for summer. still waiting to get heater installed from 3 months ago, had to get some power points replaced as tripping out. getting ceiling fans installed soon got just about everything in house, no lounge yet though or enough cupboards or robes. that can wait.

Wow! Good on you! I think the last time I remember, you were travelling around WA. I'm surprised SA is warm actually - but I guess it's mid SA and not south... makes a difference. @TAB
Enjoy the warmth for me 🙂 I've got an electric blanket on and draped over my legs because it's so cold.

Hi @TAB I have some understanding about small towns. My dad was born in town in Wimmera area and remember he saying when he was a kid everyone knew almost everyone. Over the years I’ve travelled to the town and have seem some growth but not like I’m used to living in suburbia Vic. Chatting with one of my relatives recently who still lives in the town, it’s still the thing of almost everyone knows everybody. Lovely town but with population less than 2,000, couple hrs drive to next large town and not being near the water it’s not for me.
This morning I managed to sell couple items on fb marketplace, one led me to talking with lady about kitten she has rescued and giving her some tips of things she can try as kitten isn’t well.
going to finish sewing one drape this afternoon

Septic is a whole other world @TAB Seems you are getting real house proud!
Been in spring clean mode atm. Lots of loads and trips outside. I dont always hang wash outside but gotta make the most of Melbourne sunny days. The side of the house was clothesline was totally weed infested, so doing a clean out there as well. lol Also gardening around the front and on the verge coming together nicely. Always something to do.
