Re: Daily Achievements!
Hi @Judi9877 and everyone
I love watching home and away. I have been on a tour of Palm Beach as a teenager it was really good.
Today so far I have watched a webinar as I'm just about to start uni through Monash.
I have had baked beans on toast and juice and 2 cups of tea.
I have planned next week out and organised study and family committments.
I am now listening to some Elton John - Bennie and the Jets - a classic!
And I've been scrolling Facebook and ordered some textbooks for uni (good old afterpay) hoping to get a scholarship next year when I can apply.
Looking forward to reading others achievements today 🙂
Have a great day!

Re: Daily Achievements!
Ahh I'm well practiced.. kind of a professional student. I have had breaks but pretty much haven't stopped since I left school at 17 so 17 years ahahaha and have worked here and there but never full time. I'm quite excited.. as I enrolled start of last year but was bad timing then covid hit so glad I did withdraw.. anyway onwards and upwards as they say!
What have you studied?

Re: Daily Achievements!
Hi @pinklollipop15
Just wanted to stop by and say congrats on embarking on your studies! Textbooks can be so expensive, but I also find it's quite exciting to order them as I get the new study adventure feels, if you know what I mean?
Sounds like you have a great day planned and I hope Elton kickstarted your day nicely

Re: Daily Achievements!
Hey to all the perpetual students.
Ha ha @pinklollipop15 17 years is good
@BPDSurvivor 33 years is too!
Wow!
Cheers
I been on both sides of the student teacher thingummy for so long ....am going gaga about grammar! lol ...
I gave my own study a rest for a while. No formal study since 2011, but heaps online courses since, as it really is my default mode.
Guess what... after my decade off ... I enrolled in a new course yesterday and starting Monday. Hooray. Love the idea it is local 5 min car ride and walkable if car breaks down and only one day per week. Actually the clincher in the deal was that they also offered me a job. Will see what happens. It might mean I spend less time on forum, but will still think, of you all.

Re: Daily Achievements!
Good evening forumites! Congratulations on all of your achievements everyone!
@TAB well done on the job!
@pinklollipop15 great work getting into uni! I'm part way through my uni subject for this period and although I'm enjoying psychology, I've had trouble with motivation. Oh, and the fact that my textbook still hasn't shown up due to mail delays here in Melbourne and I'm reliant on getting the book as an ebook through the library with limited copies available as well which makes it even harder to study!
Today my achievements have been:
- finally getting out of bed late morning
- doing a draft of my uni assessment
- completing a beanie for charity and starting another one
- having tuna and brown rice for dinner
- worked on my Mental Health Recovery Blanket
