@Eve7 A big Thankyou. 💜💜💜I needed that today, as I’m feeling like the worlds best loser.
I hope there is good in your day. I know it’s been a rough week for you. I’m sorry I don’t say much, I’m not a talker, on or off line. But I do feel very deeply. So sending you the warmest thoughts. You are a beautiful person, even if you might not see it, we do. 💕💕💕💕

Firstly @Maggie you are not a loser best or otherwise!!!
I hope whatever is making you think that disappears.
Thank you for your kind words. I know it’s hard to see good in ourselves but we can try together ❤️

I do recommend trying magnesium cream and rubbing it into your legs.--- i will have to try this @Powderfinger
Great thread @outlander
I have chronic pains in joints, and hands , legs, groin ,everywhere each time I see the doctor , he say it is osteo arthritis
@Eve7, @Maggie , @destructive , @Owlunar
I can not take supplements or pain relief due to my kidney disease
But I find having Epsom salts baths are good and soaking your feet or hands in the epsom salts helps

@Shaz51 it works very well. Also works if you feel a headache coming. Rub it where it us starting and then get rest. It can stop it before it hits, pending that you are resting though. Try it on your joints to see if it provides some relief? Magnesium and lavender mixed in can help. Try get it as pure as you can.
The doctor tells me that too but it does not show up on tests. So, I think it is literally our pain.

Hi @outlander
The "magic needles" I have had are not acupuncture - rather my specialist does injections of local anaesthetic and in proven cases - radio-frequency neuropathy that puts the nerve to sleep and works in different people differently - and I am really lucky that I am an unusally receptive candidate.
It can be accessed though the public system but this is not an easy path - I was lucky over 15 years ago when I was treated by this specialist in the public system and accessed his practice late last year in the private system,
It's not easy to have a private pain specialist - it's really hard to find one and then hard to pay for one - it's really worth the trouble if someone can pay for it - and if possible that is the best chance for help. Specialists vary though
Going to find a place in a pain clinic in the public system is really hard - getting an appointment is like mining for gold. I was lucky to be accepted in a public clinic for years but in time the Government tightened the control they have over the use of Schedule 8 medication and I feel concerned for all people with chronic pain who need strong medication - the trouble is that there are people and I am one of them who do require this kind of medication so the journey is tricky
The "magic needles" help with the pain I have in my spine, right knee and left shoulder - all proven to have physical pathology - I am hoping to never have the joint replacement surgery in two joints - it would take too long to recover so a more conservative treatment is advised and I gladly accept this
I did try acupuncture early in the piece but I didn't find it helpful - other people seem to - I am not sure how it is supposed to work - there are other treaments in a similar mode - the Bowen treatment and acupressure - I didn't like the Bowen treatment but I knew someone who did - so it could be great - acupressure works really well - it is necessary to find a good operator though
So - you have tried hot stone, massage and cupping - interesting as you say - I reckon that the hot stones would be pretty good actually - I think those stones are dark green - I read something about dark green being really good for health and the treatment of many kinds of conditions - and I have a dark green blanket that is fantastic on those days that seem bleak and miserable - I wished I could take it to hospital when I had treaments for my back and shoulder pain -
Cupping - ah - I would like to read more about that - I think I had that once. The chances are good if it's there to be had I tried it in the early days -
Still - after all this lecture which I didn't mean to write - heat and/or ice - cannot be ignored - use both and find - since the magic needles - I can often get a lot of relief with a heat pack
Bring on ghe heat pack
I think I had better tag some more people here - thanks Outlander

Hi @outlander . thank you for starting this thread. I've been living crohn's for about 15 years. I always live in fear that the crohn's and the psychosis will erupt at the same time. I'm currently reciving treatment at hospital for the crohns, so hopefully that wont happen. I also recieve a depot for the schizophrenia.

Hi, I find good quality curcumin helps a lot with deep pain aswell as my short fibre neuropathy. It is the active component of tumeric. Good brands have better levels and it needs another component for good uptake into the body to work. Helps me deal with chronic pain. Doctor's own and Blackmore's work for me to the uptake precursor is different in each.
Unfortaately expensive and cannot afford at the moment. It takes a lttle time to me effective but I have done my own double negative trial to prove it helps me whith chronic pain.
The form of soy in Dr's own even helped prostate issues despite I am allergic to soy! Must be the form - This form is called Merviva and I guess the trademarked formula is why it is expensive.
Watch for the levels of available cumminoids when comparing brands.
