Great to have you with us. I absolutely agree that connection with those who 'get it' is key @Yazzabazza

What sort of supports do you have at the moment?

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
Creativity is a gift. Today I pulled out a big sheet of paper and drew my dreams and hopes for my life. Pfft. I then screwed it up after crossing off the things out of my control.
Creativity and putting something on my new canvas is the only way forward.

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
New beginnings are very daunting. Sometimes they don't work out. Sometimes there a multiple attempts and it gets exhausting.
New year's are hard. Waking up to bad dreams, fear, anxiety , loneliness, pull you into a hole deep and dark.
The New Year's gift is that there is a world of goodness, caring, beauty, awe, joys to dream about. There is a ladder down into my deep hole and I have the power to climb out and experience what comes my way, perhaps try new things, different directions.

Absolutely @Messylife - New beginnings can certainly be daunting. But if we keep doing what we are doing and it's not working, then it's time to make changes.
You are the author of your story.

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
Yeah. My mental health is much better for it. It keeps me stopping and not be anxious and overwhelmed.
I absolutely love Melbourne. I haven't been there much but next time the Government is giving land away, I'm requesting a park of grass in Footsgrey. Near the train or a short bus ride to the train station.
How aRe you tonight ?

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning
@Messylife that sounds nice, messing up pictures is part of the process. Mistakes often happen in art but they aren't really a mistake, its a bit of that artworks journey. For me I like that art is never perfect and it is messy and but it is beautiful, wonderful and what life is really about.

This was my last one of the year. It's is so hot in Perth, painting on site can be challenging.
