sick with hypos
Just staying up with owls tonight to ride through low bgl's. I called 13 Health, who advised me to go to Emergency if bgl below 3 bgl or 4.2bgl reading. Advised by Dr not to take insulin at bedtime.
I think I'll be alright.

Re: sick with hypos
Thank u so much for caring dear lovely @Former-Member. I've accidentally taken too much insulin by mistake. I'm eating more but still low and now drinking milo which has a lot of sugar in it.
Hugs and rainbows.

Re: sick with hypos
Just relaxing in front of telly. After cup of milo my bgl has normalised, but I need to keep an eye on levels as could dive back down low again. I'm hoping levels will stabilise, but cannot be sure.
I'm pleased your little boy grew out of his readings.
Thanks for your caring way and support dear lovely @Former-Member. This is an awesome forum. I have no family support, and I'm on my own this evenin', so I really appreciate your wise counsel. But please don't stay up on my account, you need your sleep. The Doctor did ask if i could call a friend. Maybe I could, but they'll be asleep. Just praying about it will help me. But if bgl's start going down more and more again, I will have to call the Ambulance.
I have faith that I'll be alright.

Re: sick with hypos
Depending on how much extra insulin you had, eating some carbohydrates in the form of bread might be helpful.
How do you feel about having some toast with jam?
