Hi @outlander
I would keep my name on the Headspace waiting list for now and google local psychologists, phone around and see who can bulk bill you.
See one as soon as possible.

Thanks @Former-Member@MDT
I dont like the option till waiting till the end of the year to get a psych
Im going to stay on the headspace list but look for a bulk billing psych in the meantime. If i find one then i can call headspace and ask them to take me off the list.
I may be able to use the rest of my sessions with a psych outside headspace but when the sessions run out try to do monthly sessions but ill have to pay full price.
Either way itll be about a month between sessions unless i find a bulk billing psychologist
Bulk billing is definently ideal though

First of all, well done you for using your time constructively by thinking this situation out and planning and writing all the pros and cons. In DBT, that is called Wise Mind. Awesome work lil Sis! @outlander
I agree with @Former-Member
that you should continue looking for a pyschologist that bulk bills through Medicare. That's how I found my current pysch. Just keep Googling, but sometimes you have to play around with the wording in your search. I think this is the best option in the long term, as you really need weekly sessions for an extended period of time.

I'm a bit lost with this last sentence
Im not proud of that though so i really hesitiate at that idea @Sans911
Not sure what/where this relates to?! @outlander
Just keep searching for a bit longer. Perhaps widen your search up to an hour if you've not done that already.
I think some of the searches I did were something like these
Medicare rebated pyschologist
Bulk billing pyschologist
Free pyschologist
Rebateable pyschologist
Hope these might help you.
Or find a few pyschologists just outside your area you have searched before, check out their websites and email a few to see if there's a possibility that can do that.

Yep, totally got that now. But they still earn their money, so they get paid by the government instead of you. I understand the embarrassment about it, but you not only need this, but you deserve it as much as anyone else.
I'm doing ok today. I'm waiting on my savoury chops to finish cooking for dinner. They smell delicious. I need to be more consistent with my eating habits

My dinner was really yum @outlander
Jasper was trying to lick the sauce even though it was steaming hot.
I've had a nice, relaxing and quiet day. Sorted a little bit more of my room/Office, but I got bored so I had a nap.
