Re: Who to contact in Victoria for non-emergency help?
@down_not_out Totally get it re the hair pulling. My oldest daughter pulls out her eyebrows from anxiety. I pick the skin around my nails. I used to bite them off but at least stopped that. It's tough. I hear you. The protracted w/d from meds is awful. I tried to come off my anxiety medication but needed to go back on. sigh. I've kinda accepted it now.

Re: Who to contact in Victoria for non-emergency help?
I can not control my usage of it. Even when it is staged and dispensed from the pharmacy.
It certainly has its place in this world but not for me anymore.
Anxiety is a MF and has robbed me of so many opportunities in life.
Things could be worse though.
I'm glad that MH is talked about more now and people like your daughter will benefit from this.
You are definitely a good mum too.

I was supposed to go and have EMDR at a private hospital but I can't even get out of the front gate. ☹️
Not sure what to do about it.

Hey @down_not_out
I do love your name.
Sorry, but I had a few phone calls to manage and car tyre to be fitted ... so out and about.
I am an unpaid forum member. I share my own stuff but also reach out to others. I have some quals but no registrations. I want to protect my independence than kowtow to any system, am old enuff, I figure to be able to do that. Mostly worked in other areas than MH.
Were you supposed to do the EMDR today?

@Appleblossom @hanami @fluffylight
Another night and another intense dream. My teeth were falling out in this one. Apparently, according to dream interpretations, this is less than ideal.
I got up and Sat through it though.
Mornings are the hardest for me. Take care.

Re: Who to contact in Victoria for non-emergency help?
Good to hear form you.
I have weird unpleasant dreams lately. Not so bad to be nightmares. I interpret them as chewing through daily concerns and being a sign of my feaar and anxiety. Eg ... dealing with a mess ... that is way more out of control than the real mess I have to deal with at home ...
Take Care

G'day.
This was one of those jolts you from sleep dreams this morning.
I can have several dreams in one night. Or situations that morph into another.
The part where I was trout fishing in the mountains was pleasant enough

Trout fishing sounds idyllic, hope it helped calm you down to manage the not so good in the dreams.
For a long time I did not dream or remember my dreams where as these days I wake a lot at night, tho sometimes it might be because someone is awake in the house.
