I think I'm a seed tree. It's winter, isn't that hibernation time????? It's harder than it looks.

@soul I am super excited that you have joined the great yoga adventure!!! I can't wait to hear alllllllll about it. I hope it wasn't too scary.
It sounds like we have a bit of a forest growing in Forum Land. I see that @Maggie @Ant7 and @CheerBear treeed today (that's a great word @Ant7 ). I wonder if anyone else did???
It is harder than it looks isn't it @Maggie. How did you go? I think I could get quite into the yoga gig. It definitely helps me to feel calm.
I will be treeing again tomorrow - I hope you can join me.

Yes - I have joined the very elite association that is Forum Yoga Club.
First Rule - You can talk about Yoga Club
Second Rule - Anyone can join
Third Rule - You will have fun.
So - this is my story. Every day I walk past this particular studio. When @Phoenix_Rising and @CheerBear, started going to yoga, I picked up a leaflet outside the place and looked at the website. Next I popped in one morning, had a look around and spoke to a woman there.
Then today, being the first of the month and as good a time as any, I took the plunge and paid for a one month unlimited pass and booked my first class. The studio is a twenty minute walk so off I set out with my yoga mat under my arm all keen to begin my own adventure.
There was a place that had open lockers for us to put our belongings and I set up my mat towards the back hoping that I wasn't taking someone else's favourite spot.
The class was called "slow flow." It was pretty full on and the instructor went non stop. There were lots of downward dog poses and planking and I worked up a bit of a sweat. We were trees too. Wasn't what I'd call a gentle class but I do have a fair degree of fitness thank goodness and don't expect to be too sore tomorrow.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to trying some of the other different types of classes.
Okay - now who else can we recruit?

@soul Yay!!!!!!!! I am so happy that you enjoyed your first yoga adventure and I super love that you got to be a tree. When do you think you will go again? I will be interested to hear about the different types of classes.
I agree that we need to continue our recruitment drive here in Forum Land. Maybe people will be inspired after being a tree every day for a week.
