Gee yes you've had a very rough day @Former-Member I'm so glad that you're still with us.
Your friend sounds like my Mum - my Mum rarely ever listens to a word that I say.
Every conversation is turned back onto her worst-case stories, & how terrible everything is for her.
I've just had a very draining conversation with my Mum - sure enough I barely got a word in, even though I've had more to deal with in recent weeks than she has.
So I can empathise. You needed to be heard & feel listened to, not hear other people's disaster stories...

Hi @Former-Member - how awful, glad you're OK. Could have been so much worse... glad that your church friend was there for you. Please take it easy and get yourself back to the hospital if you're concerned about anything. The important thing is that you're alright.. please get yourself some rest and take care.

My stars @Former-Member - that sounds like chaos - I am sorry about your car but so glad you are reasonably okay - it could have been so much worse
I'm not surprised though - with your Mum taking her last breath any moment - that is enough of a stressor - I am so glad you didn't roll your car and that your birds are okay
Phew
I think someone is trying to tell you something - or looking out for you in a big way - so glad of that - he will make sure the best happens for you with all of this happening
My thoughts and prayers are with you tonight and I will light the candle again

Oh my goodness @Former-Member How horrible!!!!!
After all that, your first worry was your birds
I hope you're doing okay now and taking care of yourself.
Keep the heat packs / ice packs close (I never know which is meant to help more )
Take care
