Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
Hey @Former-Member - thanks for sharing. Sometimes it's nice to just get it out there. Sounds like you're doing the best that you can which is a whole lot more than the siblings are. Will they appreciate it - maybe, maybe not. But you can have a clear conscience that you did all that you could for your Mum and Dad. I always felt that it was an honour to have done that for my parents.
I lost my uncle last week so that is the end of that generation of rellies.
I hope you are also taking care of yourself. The shoulder problem sounds ouchy, especially as the colder weather is upon us. Keep warm and try to find even just a bit of joy in each day. Are you still walking the dogs?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
Sorry you have had a recent loss @soul.
@Former-Member Glad you sorted out the laptop/cash issue its important to get things straight in our own minds. Life is crazy enough. Your family has had a lot of trauma and all you can do is your best AND be calm with it.
I am a bit under the weather atm. Will come good in a couple of days.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
Thanks for asking @outlander and @Shaz51, restless night >> 7am srgnt mjr nurse today - 'piic pic ' always feel inadequate after her. >> sorted dads b'fast & sat down to have mine but - 🔔 linen pickup guy 😱forgot, got smelly hands rushing wet kylies & towels out to him and sat down to finish breakky.
Entering diary but Respite nurse arrives 1/2hr early again - i wasnt ready and of cause that really anoys me. And this one wont do dishes or anything but sit watch dad, so i have to race round doing catchup before going out to my respite. It flusters me - I'm so not a morning person.
- raced up friends for coffee
- left my prescription sunnies there but she cant find 😞 >> lost a keycard & had to report it stolen 😞 - 2:30 got shakes so late lunch >> thats when i found keycard missing & went to bank all flustered >> then rushed home to dad, nurse had gone, he needed changing help >> gave him Afternoon Tea, didnt finish mine as had to rush off to >> my psych apt - she was running 1/2hr late. Had no idea what i was gonna talk about but yep - all the superficial ssues about dad and siblings really 😞 she didnt ask about the waves of SI & fladhbacks which i thought we were suppose to be working on. A young family went in after me. Person before me came out sobbing. >> saw the GP for new careplan for another 4 visits =10 & abdo U/S results - got referral to gynae for biopsy (honedtly gonna forget all that) >> dark outside by now so grabbed fish+chips takeaway for us
>> home dad ok >> fed dogs & cat >> started feeling really aggitated >> asthma attack so puffer & laydown for me - fell asleep typing this >> 1hr later dad came woke me talking gibberish & had to go sort all that out which not sure i did >> crashed / slept another 2hrs >> got up to help dad to bed >>
Just really aggitated today, putting it down to lack of sleep and feeling out of control... Mixed bag of feelings really, especially when shopping centre rang to say -🎉 i won 🎉 $200 🎉giftcard 🎉

Feeling just just a cog in the system does not usually help.
