Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Yo @Former-Member

I am here and feeling the beginnings of the seasonal drag on the emotions

Going to bed soon - sore legs -

Oh - and thanks for starting the winter thread up again - btw - in Melbourne the weather has been pretty good

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Ok @Owlunar, we'll prop each other up. I'm hoping i can hang in here. Frankly, the people here think more lile me. Maybe i was just never meant to move to Qld. It is what it is...

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

HI @Former-Member

Apart from the egregious behaviour of your toxic sibs maybe you are better off now - although caring for your Dad is hard work it is worthwhile - and as you said - the people there are more like you

Whatever about Queensland - you still have property there - so depending on what happens etc you have a bolt-hole to return to and I always think we need a space of our own - whatever that space is

Winter in Sydney is better in winter - I have been to Sydney in winter a (I forget) few times - and the weather is wonderful - just cruising around the harbour for a couple of days in August and I started to get a bit of a tan -

You've just had summer there and that can give you an idea about the weather already - south eastern Australia has had a very hot summer this year

So - we can hope along together as we do - and I hope the different circumstances help life to be better for you - but yeah - getting over your mother dying will take time

I know that

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @Owlunar, i know you understand. I dont miss mu mum much, not sure why, we lost connection a few years back.i don't know. Hoping some goid memories come to mind soon. Had a lot about my girl i miss her. Tomortowsy auntys funeral

Weather has been hot & dry here all werk. Tomorrow is set to be 34🔥 😲which is hard 'cause we have the funeral 10am. But the car aircon works ok . They say its gonna be this hot here the next few days. But could be worse

I'm ready for the cold, found a locely B&W flecked lined classy 3/4 jacket @Vinnies for $20 - looks new. My parents have a very efficient gas heater, but dont think we'll use it much. Time will tell.

Is your moid stable atm? Hard to tell i guess with all the sad anniversary dates

Must get some sunshine on my skin 🙂

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @Former-Member i hope tomorrow goes ok, sending hugs.you've been through such a lot over the last long while... I really hope that things go okish for you soon.
Hi @Owlunar I have visited sydney a couple of times and loved it and the surrounding countryside too, wish a holiday was on a forseeable horizon but probably not.

Our start to Autumn has been very warm here too and feels strange though we've had a few humidish wet days too (even more unusual for us here too - the humidity i mean)...
take care

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @Former-Member, how are you going?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

What state are you again @Former-Member?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

im not feeling well at the moment just a bug thats going around i think or a couple one after each other and very tired. Daughter isnt well either and coming down with it so hoping she'll be ok enough for school tomorrow but don't think thats likely. Feeling the pressure and things because of work.. but will get there (im a bit of an over stressor/drama queen really but it all gets to me too much).

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I don't have a lot of answers accept that you make the most of time out. Centre yourself. Build your spirit up & love those kiddies every chance you get. Find a common interest group. Everything takes energy ❤ I like sweing you around Lisajane.
ps i think its time to put a splash of white at least into your avatar. Create your own silver lining somewhere☺ when ya ready lol

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
