Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Know anyone who can help out? Otherwise head on over to the phone shop @Faith-and-Hope.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Have come home and D2 has told me that WH and D3 have headed out to a shopping precinct ..... "the coffee place" that WH goes to 2-3 times daily when we're here, so they will be out for a couple of hours. My plan was to head into the city with D3 cos there was something she wanted today, but that plan has obviously been vetoed in my absence with no phone contact to be able to communicate about it ..... so I am off to the city to get my stuff done ..... leaving a message on email. That will do it. WH will have his iPad and will find wifi somewhere cos he's always on email ..... and he will be seeing to the phones where they are.

Sorted .... for now .....

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope

I'm sorry to hear that you had Bronchitis & such a nasty infection.

It sounds like you are going through a lot at the moment. I feel for you.

Yes well it wasn't black stuff for me - that reminds me of being hospitalised for my emergency bowel surgeries.

I was coughing up blood last night & this morning. Hopefully I will turn the corner soon.

I'm thinking of you... Back to bed for me...

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @Adge

I guess the locum doctor wants you to see your own doctor - having a script for only 5  days for a serious infection like you have right now isn't really enough

But then - your own doctor didn't think it was that serious - it really wears you down - hey

Better make an appointment for next week straight away - aw - this is something you don't need at all

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

@Adge, that's the last thing you need, bad chest infection and tonsilitis 😞 So glad you called the home DR (I'd stick with him for now, sack the other one). The ABs take about 2days to really kick in. Grab some antibacterial lozengers and chewable vit-c, vicks, chewing gum, drink lots and rest. Feel for you Adge, not fair. F&H has a point about boosting your immune system too. Vegies++ throw it all in a crock pot for 6hrs, mash it, add a few herbs and have a cup full every few hours. Hugzz to you 🐦🌿💜

@soul, glad your lavender plant has come alive again 👍 I'm wondering if there's a safe fertalizer for it? Glad too that ya got a walk in. I'm impressed with you exercise people :ok_hand: You asked "How are those drawers going?" what drawers? lol, well 🙈🙉🙊 😕 but I did go to the hardware this week to buy the 3cans of spray paint for topcoat - but they only had one can of white gloss grr, have to go back Mon. And yesterday I did touch up the drawers again with woodfill, so they will need a 3rd undercoat of paint now. I'm over the drawers but not giving up 🌷🌿🐦🐶

I do find it hard to stay focused & 'finish things. Pretty scatty i guess

@Faith-and-Hope, poor you, glad you're "going with this flow" there, and not stressing - must be hard not to react. I really do hope the team you're working with "know their stuff" I'm concerned. Even when they are the best, its the client, and family, who has to put in the hard yards. WH forgetting to pay the phone bill (no phones or data access today) this is surely a sign he's rattled. What a pain for you though. I admire your patience. Perhaps he can go round MILs and borrow her phone today instead of blowing a poofoo valve. He's just cranky with himself. So frustrating 💜💕
❤❤❤
Well, i'm making headway decluttering boxes on the veranda. What a mess out there! But salvaged some things I've been looking for for ages. Even precious photos, and eliminated spiders, a lot of spiders and dust /dirt from the road. Hope to try for that 'Garage Sale Trail' again this year - late spring. This took ages to type, even got redlighted. Sometimes concentration just not there. Cheers 🌷🌿🐦💜💕

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Got the phones sorted for now ..... temporary sims .....

WH is so focussed on his regimen @Former-Member that he is not giving due regard to anything else consistently, including bill-paying.

We are in Melb for the week ..... so no MIL or MIL's place ..... don't know if she knows about the shift to Melb yet ..... likely not ..... she is replaced when we are here by "the coffee place" ..... and won't realise that she can just as easily be exchanged for it. WH is attached to her, but not .....

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Sounds complicated @Faith-and-Hope, so is it just you, WH & S2 on Melbourne atm? Good you got phones & internet access sorted, didn't think of new sims, clever.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Plus D2 and D3 @Former-Member ....

Yes, good the phone communication is sorted.
