Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I guess that you can only wonder what the outcome would have been if only this or that happened @Faith-and-Hope. You'll drive yourself crazy if you get stuck in that mode.

I reckon it's a good idea to get away from the damaging influence that appears to be your inlaws. How do they feel about the move? Just wondering if they will still be able to exert their influence from afar?

Hopefully this dissembling and resembling will result in a better functioning model.

Try to enjoy your day. 💕💕

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @Faith-and-Hope

Good morning to you too & to everyone else!

Yes I'm around, awake since before 4am - not by choice.

I called locum doctor out & he arrived at 4.50am this morning.

I finally got the right diagnosis (not good).

My GP brushed me off yesterday, saying that it's severe hayfever (which it isn't).

I've got Bronchitis & tonsillitis both at the same time. Chest Infection.

I don't think I've ever had Bronchitis before.

The locum Dr said that I would not recover without antibiotics (that's what I thought) - when my GP had refused to treat me with anything.

I'm waiting for the Chemists to open. It's 7am & nothing is open yet.

As @Former-Member said - those germs just love me way too much (I wish they wouldn't).

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Take care @Adge - sounds nasty. Get plenty of rest, drink lots. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and you'll be on the mend.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @Former-Member - happy that the sun is out, a gentle breeze is blowing and even the lavender plant has come alive. Got a walk in and will be back at yoga tonight.

Hope you have a good day. How are those drawers going? BTW.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @soul

Yes I will try to enjoy my day too...

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @Adge

I sm sorry you are so sick but glad you have a diagnosis at last

Didn't the locum doctor give you a starter antibiotic - they usually give me one with the script when the shops are shut - like hey - you are so sick how are you supposed to get your medication

This computer is going to close me out so I will stop here - and I hope you feel better soon

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @Owlunar I hope you have a good day.

No Dr didn't give me any starter antibiotic or anything.

The script only lasts 5 days, & that usually is not enough to treat the infection. Plus this is more severe than I've had.

So I will have to go back or call out another Dr in a few days.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Wishing you well @Adge ..... take care ..... support your immunity, it falls under stress and is linked to lung function .....

Found out the hard way ..... went from mild cough to bronchiolitis and coughing up black stuff within 48 hours one year ..... 4 weeks on an antibiotic forte to get out of it ..... immunity was on the floor ......

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Yep @soul ..... going with this flow ..... I reckon the team we are working with know their stuff.
