The Dr came at 10pm, after a 4 & 1/2 hour wait.
I needed to sleep before 8pm so tired, strained to stay awake waitng. Left me in a mess for today.
Seems to be a chest infection, with the virus still not gone yet.
I'm on another course of antibiotics (finished the last one about 9 days ago).
Maybe I should have waited to see my normal GP, I don't know about these antibiotics.
I forgot to mention my sudden aches & pains shooting through my sides (to Dr). Don't know if it's due to the virus, or something else.
I'm sorry to hear about you flashbacks (happy memories) which are so sad & sudden, @Former-Member. That's hard. I'm thinking of you.

Wow @Adge, that is a long wait to see a Dr - be quicker to go to emergency. It's good ti stick to the same dr if you can. My S3 has Bronchitis after the flu now too. A lot of people have similar atm. I hope I don't get it. Feel for you too.
Too lazy to cook after a big day, so I sat down to Jatz biscuits and before I knew it I'd mindlessly eaten nearly the whole packet oopsy! Worried about too much salt, I drank 3 cups of water and, oh my goodness, I think the water rehydrated the biscuits swelled - rumy burst! lol Laying here stretching out like a beached whale, silly me lol.
With the bird cages, I wired two together to make it bigger. Want to freshen it up with paint - can you recommend a 'safe' paint to use? Or special one. I'll try post a photo.
You take care :💜🌷🌿

Thanks @Former-Member
Good work with those bird cages!
I've hardly ever wired things together, or been inovative like that.
Sorry I don't know much about paints, so I can't really suggest one.

This tree mess has kept me busy this last few days. x4 full trailer trips to the the dump & a friend's large ute full of heavy stuff for his fire. Was suppose to rake today but too sore (arthritis). And pulled my shoulder, resting it in a sling. Feeling old. Put electric blanket on my bed yesterday, really helps the back & knees.
Just popping in, saying something
Being outside in the garden more sure seems to be doing the mood good. Not too many dark thoughts 🙂
Hope you're all OKtonight. ❤❤❤

Hey @Former-Member - good to see that this tree mishap has had a bright side to it. That sure is a big clean up you've had to deal with. It is good to have a project albeit one that unexpectantly happened to work at. You can see the progress you make and it gives you a sense of accomplishment.
Take care of your poor sore body. Some heat will do it good. Do you have a wheat pack to put on your achy bits?
My dog is suffering from SAD. Doesn't want to go out walking in the morning. I go by myself then give her a walk around the middle of the day and again in the late afternoon. Right now, she's on the sofa next to me wrapped up like a burrito in a rug.

Yark!!!!!! @Former-Member
What a terrible mess - I am glad someone can use the wood for firewood - that is a good thing
And working outside is a good thing for the mood - I love walking outside - ah winter yeah - SAD - I might be planning a walk right now but we have icy wind and rain storms - and thunder - here and so I felt lucky to get up to the hairdresser and get a few things from the shops without getting drowned in heavy rain
In Melbourne we get squalls up from the South Pole - there is nothing between us and the heads of Port Phillip Bay to fend of the storms off the Southern Ocean - When I was going to Canberra last winter people kept telling me it was cold there - but hey - I live in Melbourne! The cold was different there the first couple of days but then I got beautiful days after chilly mornings
Anyway - I am planning to fly to the east coast - Eden - in the next few weeks - I still have to go to flight centre and work it out - but it's better to fly than travel by train and bus for a whole day
I hope I get good weather then
You're okay Lapses

Agree @Owlunar - the cold is so much easier to deal with if the sun's out. I go walking early in the morning and once I get moving, it's okay. Was six degrees this morning which is quite cool for where I live but it felt much warmer in the sun. I went to a function up the road tonight and even though it was 16 degrees as I was walking along the foootoath, I was freezing.
Hope you have a great trip.

Hi @soul
I am not walking as much through winter - I have chronic spinal pain and I need to keep the temperature as stable as possible - but winter cannot last forever
Just a moment - I will work out how many days left this winter - pathetic - yes - I know.
36 days - ah - that's a lot better than the last time I counted - I can hear the birds singing if I wake up early in the mornings - I tend to go to bed late - today I slept in too late - no desire to get out of my warm bed with my furry friend - my companion cat
But you are right - it is better when the sun is shining - sitting here at my computer in the morning with the sun shining in here is always wonderful -
