Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Don't you just melt at that unconditional love that our pets give us especially dogs @Former-Member? Not sure so much about cats.

Hope you can work that tension out of your body. What about a massage? I've been meaning to book another one soon.

We do worry about our kids huh? I don't think it ever stops. My daughter was on antidepressants at one stage. She lost her way bit seems to have things back on track now. She's still very moody but I just try to go with the flow. It's what we do.

My son lives with his father but I try to catch up as much as I can. He leads a busy life so I am grateful for a couple of hours together here and there.

Didn't sleep much - dog woke me twice and my mind is racing from a great night out (ladies ♨night fund raiser for school chaplains). The music was amazing and the speakers were supper good too. No social anxiety at all (which is amazing for me - hope that lasts, just reeeeeal calm lately, maybe preparing me for something, wonder if its that vision I had in march - that I would attend a funeral late July, ha mha maybe mine cause my butts freezingboff atm just going to the toot lol). Sorry, got off track, no, just really tired lately, have to work 8:30am, so must try sleep again, hope I can last the distance 🙂 🌷🌿

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Me too @Former-Member

I can relate. Despair flashbacks etc today - I can barely get the words out to express myself.

I need find something to enjoy in what's left of the day.

I just can't think of or focus on anything.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I've been waiting for the locum doctor to come for several hours (since 5.30pm this afternoon).

I'vebeen feeling worse the past few days, especially today.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

That's no good @Adge. Hope the doctor has been by now. Take care.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Thanks @soul

No hasn't come. I'm still waiting after more than 3 hours.

He's supposed to arrive within 20 minutes of saying that he's on the way.

They diverted him to other people first they finally admitted - but won't tell me when now.

I'm normally in bed by 8pm even when I'm not I'll. Because I have to get up very early to go to work.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @soul
@Adge, sorry you're still so unwell. As if we haven't got enough to deal with. Did the Dr come eventually? Are you well enough to work?

I'm feeling a bit better this morning, in t no bombardment of Blackdog thinking (like I woke up to yesterday, teary all morning), so hopeful to have a good day. Do have that giant pile of tree cuttings to take to the tip, and A/T Lady's Study GP today (study to catch up with).

Oh no, there it is, another visual flash from the past. My girl getting an award from school. Should be a good memory but its bitter sweet (tears) because she's no longer with us.. Have a photo I want to share with her. Memories can be painful, I long for the day I can rejoycevover her memories without crying.

Oh well, nothing a good cu of tea can't fix / or get me through, have a good day 🌷🌿

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Brrrr - my fingers are frozen from hanging out the washing. Blowing into my hands and wrapping them around a hot cup of tea. Wasn't so bad as when I was out walking earlier.
