As you can see in the above post, my seedlings have made a lot of progress in the past week. The cucumbers have their third leaves. There are a few garlic chives around the edges of this tub but they have mainly germinated in the corner and the other little seedlings are my carrots. Super happy with how they are all going. It is making me very happy to see their progress.

Good Morning @hanami @Former-Member 

How are you both this morning? It's a bit cool and overcast here today. It has been raining here for a few days. I think it's supposed to clear up today and go back to being sunny again tomorrow. Hubby and I are off to his doctors appointment this morning. Just waiting till 8:30am to get him out of bed for a shower. I have been up for ages. Woke up at like 6am and couldn't get back to sleep so I got up. Tried ringing daughter in Hawaii but she didn't really want to talk so that was a no go. So I decided to go take a progress picture of my seedlings to post as the last picture I took was exactly taken a week ago. What are you up to this morning?

Are you okay @Oaktree , that she didn't want to talk? Is she living there or on holiday?

My oldest son is in Japan right now and due home next week. He's been working there. He is only home for a month then off to the Thredbo to work for the ski season.

Feeling a little lonely this morning. 

My daughter is living in Hawaii for 4 years.

She is studying at college there.

It's a Church school so she got on a special plan.

She works for the school and they pay her board and tuition out of her pay. She also gets a small amount of her pay to live on. They don't pay much over there in America. We just have to pay a small yearly family payment. Other than that she has done it all on her own. She paid for the flight there and she has the money set aside for the flight home. 

I do miss her but she is having the time of her life.

She doesn't want to come home. She has made some amazing friends so that's great. She seems very much at home there.
