Re: Life challenges
I'm so sadden to hear the news of the passing of our beautiful Hopeandlove.
She may not have known it, but she gave me a feeling of inclusion that I have never felt before. It's a nice feeling!
I will really miss her and hope that I have the same dignity and grace she had when she died.
Earlier, Hopeandlove and I talked about our faviourite elements and we both loved Air and Water. As a final tribute, I would love to share the element of Fire meditation. I will miss you.
The element of Fire
Picture yourself in a charming sandstone cottage in the English countryside. It’s Christmas time, and outside, the wind howls as snow blankets the landscape. You’ve just stepped out of a warm, soothing bubble bath, the scent of lavender lingering on your skin. Dressed in cozy pajamas, you make your way downstairs, watching the snow swirl past the window, feeling grateful for the warmth and safety of your home. You sink into a plush, oversized couch, wrapping yourself in its comforting embrace. To your left, your beloved dog snores softly, while on your right, your little tabby cat purrs contentedly. The three of you are perfectly at peace. The late afternoon light fades, giving way to the golden glow of a roaring open fire. Flames dance and crackle, filling the room with warmth. The mantel is adorned with a festive garland, and candles of varying sizes flicker gently, casting a soft, enchanting glow. You sit in stillness, mesmerized by the shifting hues of the fire, feeling its heat wrap around you like a familiar embrace. In this moment, you are home. You are safe. You are loved.
Love to everyone

Re: Life challenges
Thank you @Hopeandlove for sharing your story with us.
I know for me, and likely for others, it was an honour and privilege to share this precious time with you.
I was taken by your resilience, grace and dignity to the end. I will always remember you when I see sunflowers.
I feel you gave us much, if not more, to us as we gave to you.
I feel a huge level of connection to this group, which I have rarely felt, especially of late.
It was so beautiful to see a group of people come together to support another. It has helped me to regain some faith in people.
I hope everyone in the group is ok and please share and reach out beautiful people @

Re: Life challenges
Thank you to the Nurses who made sure that Hopeandlove wasn’t alone at the end. We tried to hold her hand from the other end of a phone screen. Thank you for physically holding her hand. Thankyou also for posting about her passing and for taking the time to post her last letter.

Re: Life challenges
I wholeheartedly agree @Oaktree
Thank you to all the staff for looking after our friend @Hopeandlove
She loved the fact that people read to her, held her hand and took her out into nature. So thank you to all the staff involved in her care. It was comforting for us to know she was looked after

Re: Life challenges
Let your soul fly free now and know that you have made such a lasting and powerful impact on a group of people who were honored to be with you as you prepared for you final flight.
And thank you to the incredible nurses around you and the job they do and for looking after you so well in person when we could only be there virtually. It meant a lot to us all here as well.
Thank you for your letter, it was such a heartfelt and emotional read this morning. I am so honored to be part of allowing you to feel the kindness, compassion, love, and value from others this past month that you deserved so much more of in your life. And thank you for the powerful reminder of the importance of supporting each other. I will keep a copy of your letter as a reminder of how a bit of kindness and compassion can have so much of an impact on others.
Even though I only knew you for a short amount of time, every time I see a butterfly or hear the waves or a bird chirping, or look up at the stars I will think of you and this past week and the amazing gift you have given us all. It will be an honour to release that flower on your birthday.
Be at peace.
