I'm so sorry this has all progressed so quickly to the point you are at now. I hope they can at least make you comfortable. I know there's not much I can say, but just know that you're in my thoughts and we're all here with you if you need some company.

Oh @Hopeandlove, my friend, I am so sorry to hear this news.
I think shock it the only response to this news, I am shocked.
I hope you are still able to find peace and calm in your nature world though.
I will still be here whenever you feel well enough to post.

Thank you @MJG017. I don't think it's hit me yet, I'm in shock but I'm not feeling any emotions. I had a chat to the psychiatrist that came this morning not sure if it was helpful or just a chance to vent to someone.
I'm somewhat comfortable, still in pain but the pain relief they are giving me is taking the edge off. I never thought things were going to go downhill so fast. All I keep thinking about is the things I used to enjoy doing that I'll never get to do again.

Thank you @Till23 . I have been attempting to escape to my scenes away from reality but my head feels far away from me and I'm not able to escape this reality.
So many questions, so many thoughts, so much pain (mentally). I wish things were different, that I had more time, that I wasn't in this position.

@Hopeandlove have you let the staff know you are still having some pain. It would be good to be as comfortable as possible.

@Till23 the pain is a reminder that I'm still here. It's a dull pain nothing I can't handle.

Hopefully you will see a social worker @Hopeandlove who can maybe answer some questions and of course your medical team.
I am not surprised you are finding it difficult to think, anyone would.
I am sorry things have move so quickly, I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you, but I will still be here on the forums and you are definitely in my thoughts.

@Till23 I have talked to social workers while I have been here, it's not questions that can be answered though.
I don't have a choice other than to accept what's happening. The medical staff have shown so much understanding and compassion towards me. The forums is the only contact I have to the outside world and I will try to keep contact as long as I can.

Dear @Hopeandlove
I'm so incredibly sorry to hear this. I can’t imagine how overwhelming this must be for you. It’s completely understandable to be in shock, there’s no right way to process news like this. No wonder you can't think straight.
I hope they’re able to keep you as comfortable as possible, and that you can find even small moments of peace, whether in the kindness of those around you or by picturing yourself in one of your favorite nature scenes.
You are deeply cared for, and we’re all here for you. Sending you love, strength, and comfort.
