Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!
Oh @Molliex I am so sorry to read this. I have never had a miscarriage so I don't know how it feels.... But I have read that the grief is real and it's normal to mourn.
Reading your post I am getting the impression you really want another baby, but you're scared about stuff that went wrong with the first pregnancy, but that's all temporary you have your beautiful D in the world now.
Yes talk it over with your psychologist you might get some advice but at the end of the day it should be about what's best for your family. I don't know how good this advice is but maybe do a pro's and con's write it all down.
I love you my dear friend Molliex and I am here to support you as you grieve and then decide to move forward with your decision.
XOXO ANGELS333

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!
@Molliex I am sorry for your loss. 💞💞💞
I don’t think any of your feelings are silly , and feeling something that was something to you, even though you might not know what you were feeling, is a big feel. I have had pregnancies and lost the baby, you grieve, just like everyone.
Allow yourself to do that.
If you choose to have more children, enjoy what you can along the journey.
The rainbow pic you posted is hope. Hold that.
Seeing your psychologist on Monday might be well timed. I hope so.
Sending you a big long squishy hug, even in isolation. 💜💜💜💜💞💞💞💞

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!
Thanks @Angels333 . I am honestly still dealing with the trauma from that pregnany and the health problems I had afterwards. Yes, she is 100% worth that, but it still impacts me now.
Yes, i think I do want another kid. But your'e right, I am scared.
I appreciate that you're always here for me x

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!
Thank you @Maggie for your kind words. It feels less like a loss and more like a lost chance or opportunity...i don't know if that makes sense. I think it will be really valuable to talk it through with my psychologist. I have already sent him an email with points of discussion for our appointment, so he will be prepared.
Hugs x

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!
@Molliex I'm sorry your first pregnancy left you traumatised, physically and emotionally, it's such a difficult thing to cope with. I wish I could say any future pregnancy will be easier but I don't really know. All you can do is push forward with an awareness you didn't have the first time x

Re: Dealing with intrusive thoughts - my struggle!
@Molliex Hi Molliex having a miscarriage at any stage is an awful thing to have happened. My condolences. As for trying again that is completely up to the both of you. I am not here to judge as long as you are safe and sound that is all that pea cares about. Take good care of yourself. Your friend peaxx
