I have taken a more natural approach to my management now. I made massive changes in my life to ensure I was in a calm, happy and safe environment. I spent a lot of time focusing on my mindset and what sort of life I wanted to have. Psychologist and Psychiatrist have played a massive part. I've been off psychotropic meds since the end of 2014 and have been well ever since 🙂

Sorry about taking so long to reply @pitterpatter I have been having difficulties logging in.
It's now been 9.5 years and I'm still psychotropic medication free. I am prescribed medicinal cannabis which has been an absolute game changer for my back pain but also my anxiety and insomnia.
I haven't had an episode or signs of sever mental distress since 2019.
Walking plays a huge part in keeping me well as well as being very focused on self care.
May I ask what sort of side effects you're dealing with?
