awww @CheerBear thank you my wonderful CB - I hope 2019 is better for both of us. We have both dealt with some big stuff this year and still come through it okay - that shows our resilience and strength and as always I have thoroughly enjoyed our times together on here. It is amazing how much we love and respect our forum family and how much everyone contributes to this being such a wonderful community - it is unique and much needed and most of us feel a real connection to others here ...it is both our lifeline at times as well as a place to rest when we need support - and you my dear CB make it that way for so many - you are indeed part of the magic of the forum 😍

Yes the safe landing space makes a huge difference for me too. @CheerBear
@Zoe7 Have a good one. You have been busy here and online. The thing about good online experiences is that we carry them in our head and it influences our imagination. Here hoping you carry it all to your new school and forget the old one ... the bad bits ...
@TAB You rang?
Von Tab ist gut sponge Ha! Amazing you got accents before vocab. I guess that is the mimic.
Life would have been hard for you growing up with your father (still is). He would have felt very isolated here and just had to stew in his own juices re his war trauma. Sad thing is even if we understand that as children, the damage is so deep that it is hard to get through thick skins ... for my mum .. but also lots germans I have met here ... Weird thing is I felt closer to many germans than to Aussies ...
I wonder how @Jacques is going. Hope you aren't too bad ... I know you have a life outside of the forum now, which is great, but it is always great to see you. You were one of the first peple I connected to on here. Still fond ...
