This is the kind of photography I used to do.

Re: A long rave

If you live in one of the major centres there, @The-red-centaur, there may well be an art group around somewhere. I like doing it at the MH centre because I feel more relaxed and like I can be myself there, and there's absolutely no pressure. Maybe google might throw up something similar in your local area. I find it much easier to colour in and do other art activities when in a group. My main creative passion is video making.

Looking forward to seeing the photo once it clears the moderator, @The-red-centaurSmiley Happy

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita that is cool.

Google my friend do not fail me.

Re: A long rave

Google seldom fails me, @The-red-centaur. I hope something shows up for you!

Re: A long rave

Urgh... I looked up my art groups in my area. Found the organisation I used to be involved with. I'm still in their advertising material and it's as my previous gender. Kinda triggered now. I thought they'd stop using me.
@Mazarita and there's nothing else.

Re: A long rave

@The-red-centaur, sorry you are feeling triggered. Sounds like you had some tough experiences with them. Maybe if you widen the search a little you might find something later. Photo just came through, really lovely! Even if you can't find the momentum with a real life art group, you could post here and get responses. I find I need response to get motivated for art. Without an audience, there's something missing for me.

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita i didn't exactly have bad experiences with them it's just weird to see a different me before I started transitioning being used in advertising material. It made me feel super uncomfortable and dysphoric.

Re: A long rave

I can imagine how weird that would be for you, @The-red-centaur. How long ago since you transitioned?

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita I'm gonna take a quick break for a shower to calm down.
