Hey @Adge I didn't crochet for many years and forgot the stitches - so I watched some Youtube clips to learn them again. They are there for knitting too. I started a beanie last night with t-shirt yarn that I made.

Hi @eth That's very good that you re-taught yourself the stitches (from Youtube videos).
The Zoo has re-opened, so has Aqua Aquarium.
You have to Pre-book, & purchase tickets online - there are no Door Sales.
So I am not going.
I shall have to wait until I can purchase an Ordinary Ticket - from a Real Person (not a computer).

I'm still really wary of going out to such places @Adge , especially my water tai chi which is in a heated indoor pool. Seems like a perfect environment to harbour the virus. Watching and waiting to see if the 2nd wave they speak of happens. But I did go for a walk to a park with my support worker on Friday (keeping our distance from each other) and it was good to get out without family - the 4 of us have been at home since mid-march. 3 months already - you'd think I'd be chomping at the bit but actually I have some anxiety about being around people again.

Hi @Former-Member @MDT @Judi9877 @Faith-and-Hope @Maggie @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @saltandpepper Thanks all for your tags the last 2 days. Unfortunately I haven't been able to respond to you all individually because I am deep in the mire again. Thought my public housing application was finished and lodged (with heaps of evidence documents) on Friday but Monday morning got hit with a request for rather a lot more supporting evidence. Trying to gather it, but anxiety spiking so much doing it that I am exhausted after every effort and really haven't got it in me to be much support to anyone while this is happening. I know you'll all forgive me and will hope to get on top of it before long. They have given me another deadline to lodge by and it's only 2 weeks this time. Waiting til tomorrow morning to speak to my support coordinator about it all.
Hi also @Mazarita @Adge @Zoe7 @outlander @Blep @CheerBear @greenpea @Exoplanet @Sans911 and anyone else reading - sorry if I've missed tagging you.

I am so sorry to hear that @eth I hope you can get on top of that - & beat them at their "more supporting evidence" game soon.
I now have an Air Purifier thingy - which my psychologist suggested - due to intolerable allergy (every day).
Unusual for me, I went out & bought it Before my Surgeon appointment (soon after psych appointment).
Often I would find that too hard (feeling tired & overwhelmed), & would postpone it until another time.
So we shall see if that helps.
Yes I now need another Surgery - something I wanted to avoid at all cost.
The Stitches/Sutures are Permanent (not dissolvable), the Surgeon confirmed - they would never have dissolved.
So he needs to open me up again, to remove them & hopefully resolve the pain & inflammation issues.
Surgeon wants to do the operation in about 4 week's time (if available).
Fortunately for me, it's a Day Surgery (procedure) - so I won't have to stay in hospital!
I get to go home that day - Yippee....
My Low Income Health Care Card came in very handy.
Instead of charging me $ up front & out of pocket - Surgeon Bulk Billed me for today's Consult (Medicare paid for all of it).
Very tired, it's been a long day.

Oh no @eth . That’s really hard for you, just when you thought it was complicated.
I really hope your support worker is helpful tomorrow.
Take care. 💜💜💜💜💜
