I so love you have some more birds @Adge It is no way replaces the poor little ones you lost but is great that you have some more. I know you love your birds very much and take such wonderful csre of them. Having Cat so sick I haven't checked in with you to see how you have been doing so this is great news today - thank you for sharing
Hi @Meowmy @eth I brought Cat home yesterday morning and have been keeping my eye on her. She is doing really well - way better than any of us (family, myself and vet) thought she would be. The little sweetheart looks like her old self and you would not know she had such major surgery on Thursday. She is not allowed outside for a couple of weeks or to jump so I will close the door to her room tomorrow when I am back at work. She usually sleeps in there all day so it will not be any different for her.
Really tired this afternoon because I was up super late but I did get some things done. Still have a lot of housework to do but there is no rush - will do a little after each day of work this week and a little tonight. Washing and grocery shopping done so that is a bonus.
How have your weekends been?

Oh sorry @Adge , don't know how I missed your pic. Is this the one that sings beautiful? I think any finch is gorgeous. We get them here sometimes. I doubt I'll have caged birds again, not while my housing is so unsettled, but I'm really enjoying the wild birds here in the hills. I'll pray you find some bangalese soon. Start breeding them perhaps 😉🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦 😁💙.

Thanks @Former-Member Yes Goldfinches are beautiful singers.
People cross them with Canaries, to produce a "Mule" (hybrid) for singing.
I prefer the natural Goldfinches (not hybrid), as they are more colourful.
The Red-Faced Parrot-Finch has a lovely Trill song, too.
Breeding Bengales (funny you suggest that) - is the only way to get them back up.
I only ever bought about 4 of them, years ago - I lost 9 Bengalese (2 weeks ago), all of which had been bred in my aviary.
Only one is left, & he cannot breed on his own....

Hope you enjoy the beach @eth
Yes it is great news about Cat @Meowmy Little sweetheart has just had her meds and eaten her dinner - her appetite is certainly back so that is a positive also.
No sport to watch tonight but I am going to try for an early night so I am rested enough for work tomorrow. Still have to make my bed so I am not sleeping on the couch again tonight The couch is really comfortable but I need to get back into a routine again.
How long is your trip for Hon?
