Every year I say to myself this will be my year
I feel so old @PeppiPatty

My darling lady @Former-Member.......
Lyrics to a favourite: Joker man by Bob Dylan.
Standing on the waters casting your bread
While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing
Distant ships sailing into the mist
You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing
Freedom just around the corner for you
But with the truth so far off, what good will it do?
[Chorus]
Jokerman dance to the nightingale tune
Bird fly high by the light of the moon
Oh, oh, oh, Jokerman
[Verse 2]
So swiftly the sun sets in the sky
You rise up and say goodbye to no one
Fools rush in where angels fear to tread
Both of their futures, so full of dread, you donāt show one
Shedding off one more layer of skin
Keeping one step ahead of the persecutor within
[Chorus]

@PeppiPatty That was random, Never heard of the artist to be honest. The lyrics must mean something to you to have it in mind surely.

Hi @The-red-centaur I hope your appointment tomorrow goes well and you get to see your psychiatrist. I'd be doing the same.
Hey @PeppiPatty thanks for what you said about me managing my life - I really don't feel like I am today - had a big anxiety attack and a big cry today about trying to be proactive in putting my NDIS plan into action and all the changes to come very soon (scary even if they will be good for me). I'm not confident about advocating for myself at all.

Often @eth I pop on my favourite singer of the day and listen to the lyrics.....
I'm looking at Arthur Rankin illustrations and listening to Blonde on Blonde by Bob Dylan. And listen to the lyrics......
Managing your life takes little steps but lots of them
How do you manage your life @eth ?
"When I saw you say goodbye to your friend and smile......
Sooner or later one of us must know that you just did what you were supposed to do,"
lyrics of a song:
One of us must know (Sooner or Later)

I can't even answer that question today @PeppiPatty. I'm swamped seeing all the difficulties and negative 'what if's today.

I've been listening to Bob Dylan @Former-Member
He was and is a huge influence in my life.
The lyrics, not really. It's just one way I manage my life @Former-Member
I must comment to @eththat there is nothing that you can do about NDIS today.
Can you go for a walk? It's cool if you can't.

I don't walk anywhere by myself @PeppiPatty. Haven't been past the letterbox without support since I came here - 1 1/2 years now.
There is stuff I could be doing re NDIS but I'm not going to try this evening. I've made a list for tomorrow. Don't want to focus on it even to explain at the moment. So much of it happens on-line that it makes no difference if it's the weekend.
