@eth yes my ex is coming up to say hi. I dont think his gf likes it too much hahahah! *cheeky pea* too bad. He has to see his children and my daughter is slipping and needs her father. I plan to get son2 out into the backyard for awhile. It is so beautiful and quiet here today 🙂

@eth My daughter told me that the boys (magpies) often get over zealous with their swooping to impress the females. The more swooping they do the more impressed the females are. Touch wood I have never been swooped my ex has heaps of times (and he loves maggies). We would even be walking together and he would have his ear nipped but they would leave me alone.
I wonder why?

Hi @Exoplanet I love that picture with words you made for @Mazarita - very clever. I wouldn't have a clue how to do that.
@Mazarita If you're around I hope your day is starting well.
@greenpea hope your day goes according to plan.
Thanks for the ideas about fobbing off the maggies folks. Many years ago one flew straight into the bone behind my temple. I heard it's flapping accelerate just before it hit me. I bled a lot. So they really put me on edge. Having said all that, last year we had a pair of them that were quite friendly after a while. But today it seems like a few of them are having a battle for territory. And the dog is really winding them up, barking and running around. Bro said they've never hit him and not to worry about it ... but ...!!

Hello @Exoplanet @Mazarita @eth @greenpea @outlander @CheerBear @Teej and all else who pass through
apologies in advance all....had to edit...I know that I should have done this before posting...could not contain my excitement at actually writing to you all...I am being serious here too...
My sleeping patterns are all over the place too as I read many of yours are....I normally push myself out of bed on first wakening to try and get my body clockwork back....
this morning after a not too good night and late getting off to sleep.....I told myself that it was just good for me to lay there and breathe....this only lasts for so long then the mind wakes up...I got up eventually at 9.00am and feel all the worse for it now...
I did enjoy that moment of decision making to just lie there and breathe though...
@Exoplanet exciting that the fence is emerging....well done with the fixed price....I feel that your fence is going to be a momentous part of your new home....does said fence have a name? I tend to name most things..a bit eccentric...then again why not....loving your skills with home design and wardrobe for @greenpea
@Mazarita so good that you can get back into your video making...I do not know how you do it...hypermania at different levels must help with motivation...I sense that it might not be planned.. the motivation just happens? I don't have that experience...mine is depression ..from lurking in the background...through various levels ..to major..non being mode....anxiety flits about as an univited guest ..almost taunting and teasing...anyone else feel that way?
@eth I read that you are still feeling a little anxious about the upcoming availability of extra support...I think that feeling is quite rational...you had to go through such an ordeal and jump through so many hoops to get this...slowly easing yourself into the changes is wise in my book...meeting new people...thank goodness you have such great support from your brother and his wife...quite a radical change for you...I know from isolating myself for so long...just meeting a new doctor or specialist is quite intimidating and anxiety provoking...I think that you are doing well to acknowledge your feelings as they arise...
hello @greenpea a new item of clothing for your expanding wardrobe....designed to compliment your new pea pod...loving the changes....hoping that things are settling more on the home front with your family..
.
@outlander wow about the car....I am stunned about your round trip ...almost an overseas journey...my goodness you achieved so much...through fog...darkness...dealing with car sales people...your adrenaline must have been running on an extreme high...I have so many many stories of getting lost right back to when my boys were young and at home...quietened their fighting in the back seat a few times....a little voice heard to say "do you know where we are mum?' my response.. a smile in the mirror ..."yes it does look a little different no houses...no matter I will turn around when I find a road on the right...then I will look for the sea and travel along the coast."...could not even hear them breathing ..then...we arrived at my sister's ...yes my sister's place that we had been to half a dozen times before when she moved....we arrived an hour and a half late...I did not have a mobile then..so when asked ...my usual honest response was met with much laughing and choking from a few of the male members there...who of course never get lost ...
When I got my new used car...it lifted me up and I still feel quite exhilarated when I am out driving it...even though I only get as far as the pool...I think that this is going to be a shift in your rut for you....Go outlander in your new ride? I have forgotten the make already...
@CheerBear have forgotten what you wrote about now...supporting others I think which you are so very good at...will write more to you when I am more focussed...so sorry don't mean to be rude...am just foggy headed
@Teej I think that you got to clean your fridge....eek fridges and ovens are such a pain...the bane of cooking...my fridge now is much easier and does not require defrosting thank goodness...
the oven is a nightmare as is under the bench and far too low...so difficult to get to the top of the oven where the elements are...the back where the fan is...the door with it's glass...apparently the doors do come off...who is able to do that??? It would never fit back if I attempted that...so well done for a huge achievement...
lastly someone wrote about magpies...we have fed the ones here...my husband feeding the male for many years before I came on the scene...he has been about for 10 years since I moved up here...a different family every season...he certainly performs well...
other magpies have tried to take over at various stages and there have been stand offs...fascinating to watch the territorial battles...our male has won out mostly....then we have large crows..interesting competition there...I have not seen as much of the old male...then I have not been out in the garden that much for a while...
I do know that none of us have ever been swooped...regardless of the different families...we have tall gum trees around the perimeter of the property and many magpies...sulphur crested cockatoos...corellas are a pest here..galahs...then the smaller birds...they all live around our two cats...
well I have worn myself out....
I needed to rave and this is where I landed a while back now when I needed a quiet place to hide and recuperate...
it is much busier now...this is good...the rave lives on and provides a familiar place to park and sit for a while...
love to you all...will write when I can apologies re selection of emoticons...sometimes I have the option with my keyboard ...other times just the meek selection from the task bar above...goodness knows why...
it is a computer after all...computers and I have a history laugh...
take care all

Good morning all.
@eth, you have been so conscientious all the way along the line with this ndis journey. Hope there's a moment where you get a breather from it all at some point before it all starts up again in this next phase. Either way, best wishes for the start of new things that are likely to lead to better outcomes for you.
@greenpea, hope you and the family enjoy the visit from your ex.
@Exoplanet, how gorgeous the image you made for me! Thank you! So cool the young lad is coming again to keep going with the fencing. Hope you enjoy the trip to town.
@outlander, happy to see you getting into the 'rave' spirit.
Exciting news about your car! Sounds really groovy. Hope your busy day is easy on the nerves.
@The-red-centaur, a bit of a shock with the alarm last night. Hope it all settled quickly and you were able to get more sleep. May mind and events be smooth for you today.
@MDT, maaate. Hope you achieve everything you set out to do today and that it feels good doing whatever you get up to.
@Faith-and-Hope, @Teej, @Sophia1, @CheerBear, @frog, @show_me_gray and everyone, sending good vibes for the rest of the day.

yes @Mazarita
wait until my response lands...will take some time I think...due to the size ...laugh..
It made me grin when i edited...taking so long due to having to read through the whole thing...to find that you and others had responded in the meantime...
I am so slow...pleased with myself for getting so much out in one hit...that took a lot of energy...
then I went into a bit of "oh groan...oh no...I have just written this long..monotonous reply which I know many have said they cannot read when it is so long..."
good luck all
