Hi @Shaz51 and @show_me_gray we haven't met - welcome if you're new here.
@Faith-and-Hope thankyou very much for that suggestion. That's kind of how I'm doing it - a few pages at a time. Did 2 hours this morning and about to do some more now.
@Appleblossom glad to hear you're a bit better today.

Pj day here. Sleeping off the effects of the dental surgery. Nothing much to say but don't want to go back to bed. Just thought I'd say hi to all here and hope the afternoon is going okay.

Hi @Mazarita. Still in mine too. Just trying to slowly pull myself back up. Didn’t get to sleep until 6:30 this morning :face_with_rolling_eyes:😬. Realised how much sleep effects my mood. All I wanted to do when I got about 11 was write angry woe is me stuff. Have restrained and feel ok for now. I think I’m finally starting to understand me better. Have managed a few jobs like clean out the fridge.....not much fun but glad it’s done. Sat in the sun that was glorious. Need to have shower desperately now. Hair is like straw.
I hope the affects from dentist wear off soon. I’m too chicken. I have a huge hole in my tooth which aches when I open my mouth but am being a complete wuss (and it would take lots of organisation which is beyond me just now)
well theres a teej rave. Glad I wrote it here 😜
hugs to all about. 💜🤗

Love the @Teej rave.
Sounds like you took over my (former) late night habit for yesterday!
Cleaning out the fridge is a hard job. Ours is perennially grotty. It's one of those jobs I always mean to get to, but almost never do. Partly because the flat inspections every three months don't involve anyone looking in the fridge.
In my book, it's better to sit in the glorious sunlight than have smooth hair. But hope you get in the shower cublicle sometime. Had a shower yesterday so feel relatively smooth today. I get about three days of smooth hair before it starts to look a bit worse for wear. That's when I start tying it back. Haven't brushed it today. I'm often reminded of the author who once said that combing his hair diminished his inspiration, that he had to maintain it unkempt to complete his work.
Feeling much better for the long long sleep and the pj day, and even better now that evening is coming. C often calls me 'Evening Girl', because I come alive when the sun goes down (much as I love the sun).
Another happy note from my almost-evening time: I have started a new video! Goodbye depression, hello slight hypermania.
Hugs to you too, @Teej. This one's just for you. Will respond to others later.

Hi everyone, hope the evening is okay or better.
Feeling a bit mentally enlivened tonight after some doldrumy days.
@eth, wonder if you are having your fire tonight. Glad to hear you have relaxed somewhat today. Maybe you could throw anxiety into the fire, if there's a way meaningful to you.
I too read that article, @CheerBear. Ever since I first heard of the NDIS in its early planning stages, I had a feeling it would disadvantage many. One of the points I remember most (I read a number of comments too), is that the pool of funds the NDIS has is dependent on government budget allocations. That would seem to make it a political football.
There are some really good outcomes and Eth's path is an example. It's heartening that the Administrative Appeals Tribunal seems to be more on the side of we who need health resources for recovery.
But essentially I see the NDIS as a way of dimishing total government expenditure on people with disabilities.
Moving right along, beautiful weather here today, though I slept through most of it. But when I went out to sit in the courtyard a few times, I enjoyed the sunlight through the palms upon me. As the sun was descending, it shone straight in my eyes, I had to close them. Drinking in the vitamin D through bright eyelids. That reddish colour I see with eyes closed, facing the sun.
Not many birds in my ears today. Or maybe I wasn't listening. I heard aircraft though, as usual, lol.
@greenpea, we can still be minxes when we are daggy old ladies. Great that you got the bag of weeds picked out of your yard. It sounds to me like you are probably getting much fitter, with all the walking you've been doing.
@Exoplanet, brrrrr, cold there. Truly awesome that the fence build has begun!!!!
@frog, you are lucky to have dogs, though I also feel for you having to get out in the frosty weather. They must help with extra motivation though, aside from companionship and pretty much unconditional love and loyalty. Hope things ease at work. I admire what you are able to do.
@Faith-and-Hope, seems a wise method to break things down into smallest pieces, if need be. Breaking the ice with just one small gesture makes sense to me too. 'Have to' feelings instantly create blocks for me and they tend to grow. I tend to try to vigorously encourage myself instead, lol. I don't have deadlines, though sometimes I have habitual expectations of how long it's going to make a video, for example. Remembering to breathe has to be one of the best pieces of advice we ever get.
@Shaz51, hugs my sister.
@show_me_gray, hi and welcome. Tasmania is the one state or territory I have never been. I am close to someone from Tassie though. They live here now (far north of Tassie). I've often thought in the places I've lived that winter would be alright if there was snow. Does it make up for the freezing temperatures?
@Appleblossom, good to hear you are feeling better, me too.
Good vibes all, for the rest of the night.

Hey @show_me_gray Keep posting and looking around the forum.
We have talked through some of the issues about how to welcome new people. There is no right way, because everyone is unique.
@Faith-and-Hope @Teej @Mazarita @CheerBear have been around on the forum a while, and it has been a pleasant surprise to me, that reaching out and sharing has actually worked!
I love Tassie but its been a while since I have been there.
Take care
