Thanks @tyme @TAB @Faith-and-Hope
No operation requiring anaesthetic is minor TAB. 😄 I hope you are recovering okay?
Also because I havent been able to mobilise post op, I have needed to have blood thinner injections into the thigh muscle. I have given plenty of these, but never received one myself. The damned things sting like crazy! If I could run around the block, I would. 😂

Dear @Emelia8
I have had brief time away from the forums again and the downside of practising being kind to oneself and self-care is that moments like these are missed.
This is another moment where I truly wanted to be there for you.
I was not even aware of the two operations.
I have missed much.
My gosh I cannot begin to comprehend such an ordeal that you have been through.
You are an incredible lady.
Sending messages after literally having your body used as far more than a pin cushion. I will not go into any further description.
Worrying about washing your hair actually made me smile.
Sorry if you cannot at this time see the humour in that.
I have no idea when you will be back on line as neither do you obviously. Duh.
So in advance I very much look forward writing another letter to you as you come out of the other side of this huge ordeal.
They are very serious about giving you the best help even though the wait has been long.
I have great faith that you are in the best hands on the list of top surgeons within the country.
I have been blessed to have this experience also myself with several different ones and the follow up care is just as good.
You will be looked after
I have not experienced anything like your surgery though.
I am sure that you will have much to write to me and to all of your other loving friends on here when you are well enough to do so.
Emphasis is on well enough
Humour has been my saving grace over the years and I know that it has served you well also my dear friend.
Sleep tight and rest in the meantime.
love Sophia1
