Your post has me thinking back over the luck that it never happened to me. I think I escaped very lucky on one occasion, it too was an old school"friend". Sad we are trusting when history is involved. I am sending you all of my love, hugs and strength to get through this :pile_of_poo:ty day today. If you had my number I'd say call me, I'm here at any time without hesitation. Gosh I just want to wrap you up in cotton wool today. I don't have more words cause I'd just come across as a crazy person who loves you lots.
Hi Em - you never did anything wrong to be a rape-victim - it happens to some people - for some reason there are people who commit acts like that and it is a crime -
It is so hard on people - and the perpetrators often get away with it - and this should not be the case - women (and sometimes men) go about their normal law-abiding lives and are violated - and that is wrong.
But you didn't cause it - I am so sorry you feel that way
I know today is the anniversary - and although it was a long time ago this is still something that seriously affects you. I wish I could be there with you and care for you - I wish a lot of things - I would love to help and heal - that is what I would like
I haven't been in much - I am taking some time today - my shoulder is getting worse and I am seeing the specialist later this week. This shoulder pain is trying to take over my life and although I am feeling very tired my spirits are not to bad actually - since I had my gardener in a couple of times now and my pest exterminator baiting the roof rats I have been more organised inside - and although it takes me all day to do the few things I plan I am okay in myself
I have been thinking about you a great deal - especially today - I know traumatic events in the past stay with us for years -
So you are in my prayers today dear Em - what a kind and loving person you are and so supportive to members here - take care of yourself today
