Yes @Lee82 😳 same here. 🌷
Nervous system remains too up regulated and on alert, to permit the luxury of sleep. Is tomorrow a busy day for you?

I'm sorry to hear that hun. It's no fun at all.
yes today is a very busy day for me. I have a coffee job to do in the morning/afternoon, then I have to go back to mums and help her with her garden as she cannot do anything at the moment due to her back pain and she has been freaking out about her garden. She is a little OCD. After that I have to pick up my boys from school, take my youngest to the doctors. Nothing serious just need a new asthma action plan for school and after that I have to babysit 3 other boys for a few hours while their mum goes into work.
what about you? What does your Friday look like

I'm thinking I'd really like to tag along today if that's ok @Emelia8
Be your support as I know you'll have to be hubby's. I'll lie low in your pocket and bring my magic dust. I'm even going to leave you some for tonight in the hope it may help during those wretched hours. Love you more. Here's some flowers for you too

Sorry I didnt respond last night @Lee82 ... my eyes were sore and I had to get off the phone.
You are right of course, it is no fun at all being like this. And you know that only too well. I'm sorry.
Gosh you have a busy day ahead of you today, so I hope you finally managed a bit of rest, if not sleep.
You do a lot for your Mum, someone who does nothing for you. She is very lucky she has you.
I'm sorry for your mum that she has OCD ... that is not easy to live with either. I can vouch for that.
I hope your day goes to plan.
I have to drive hubby to another town an hour from here, to see a Sydney based neurologist. He comes up here to consult for a couple of days once a month. Hubby needs a review of his Parkinsons Disease medications. His appointment is 12.45pm, so we will likely get fish and chips for lunch. Its a seaside town. Not much else planned, but that takes out between about 11.30am to 3pm approx.

Hello @roses ... nice to see you here again. I am presuming you are referring to poem I wrote about my niece, which I posted here on 22nd August, the anniversary of her tragic accident and death. Thank you for your comments, and I'm glad you liked the poem. I'm sorry to hear of your 86yo neighbour. It sounds like you are very fond of her, and its good that she has you as a support in whatever way you are able to do that. Death is never easy, whatever end of the age scale. My Mum died of complications from breast cancer some 19 months ago, she was 82. It leaves a lasting ache in the heart. But we find ways of honouring our lost loved ones, and slowly the deep sadness of loss changes to gentle reflections of happier times.
Sending encouragement to you too Rose.
