Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

I'm so, so sorry to hear that about this evening's peer group @Adge. We did notice and value your presence there and I'm sorry your contributions weren't responded to- please know they were noticed and appreciated.

I also really appreciate your feedback and hope we're able to improve and do better with that next time, and that you might join us again and share more of your invaluable insight & perspective with us, and again thank you so much for your input this evening šŸ˜Š

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Yes @Former-Member of course you would be missing your Dad. I'm sorry, it was insensitive of me to talk about my dad. šŸ˜”

You sound like me, with a good mystery book ... cant put them down.

Yes it sounds like your recent roadtrip was a bit of a watershed moment for you. But Im very happy to hear you have regained control of your mind once more my friend. Dont give up hope of another road trip however. It was in the midst of a very difficult time for you, that you went. It could be much easier next time.

Like you, Im feeling very sad for Zoe7. I find her post very confusing. I really hope she is okay, and getting any rl support that she needs.

Ahhh dear little Georgia Girl. šŸ¶

Holly is healing up very well after her lumpectomy (as am I) and all her shaved hair is growing back nicely.

Good night @Former-Member sleep well. šŸ’¤šŸ’—

Thank you @TideisTurning Much appreciated.

Sorry @Emelia8 I was not wanting to Side-Track this thread.

I was responding @Former-Member's words - To say that I felt similar, & find it hard to keep up with the pace of activity (posts) on here.

I couldn't find EOR's thread (yes I'm tired), so just responded here where she wrote it....

Good night.

Thats okay @Adge ... you have not side tracked this thread at all.  You are very welcome here any time.

Certainly the topic of conversation (trauma and tragedy) is appropriate to your own experience.  So please, never ever feel you are intruding.  Yes, good night to you too.  I am heading off to bed myself.

Good night also to @Anastasia @Snowie @Clawde @Eve7 @WIP @Bow @greenpea @outlander @Former-Member  ... sleep well my dear friends.

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Good night @Emelia8  i do hope you get some much needed uninterrupted sleep tonight.

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Oh gosh @Bow ... so do I.  And I hope the same for you sweetheart. šŸ™šŸ’•šŸ’¤

If I dont get to talk to you before your GP apointment tomorrow Bow ... good luck with everything.  Remember to put something in your pocket to remind you that we are with you. šŸ’ŖšŸŒ¹  And remember that together we are stronger.

I have to travel tomorrow to a town an hour's drive from here, for hubby's neurologist appointment. The neuro will be reviewing hubbys Parkinsons Disease progression and any need to adjust his medications. The specialist is a Sydney based neurologist who comes to this town a couple of days each month to consult.  Its a coastal town, so we will likely have fish and chips while we are there.  Hubbys apt is 12.45pm, so we will have a late lunch after the appointment. So I will likely be off line from around 11.30am until mid afternoon. For your info too @Anastasia šŸŒŗ

Off to bed now, in the hope of at least some restful sleep.

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Hi @Adge

I didn't know about it either. I'm sorry you feel left out in here. I value you here and appreciate when we talk. It's a funny place, one that brings about a mix of emotions. It's hard online because messages can be misinterpreted and when tagging doesn't always work, well that's an impossible situation to keep up with. I use my phone as I don't have a computer only my work one and that is monitored by the IT department. So tagging onmy phone is difficult at the best of times other than whoever has made a comment on the message I am responding to. I did manage to add you to this one tho so difficult but not impossible šŸ¤—šŸ˜„ Big hugs dear Adge šŸ¦šŸ¤—
