It must have been a long day at work @Anastasia π
Although taking time out to go shopping with your boy sounds kinda nice. Really pleased to hear that he is happy. π And finishing with KFC sounds pretty good too.
My mum and dad gave me a watch for my 18th birthday. A nice silver Omega watch, that I used every day until about 5 years ago. It would have been expensive in its day, and mum and dad did not have much money. So I have always treasured that watch. Kept perfect time too, until it died 5 years ago. I was told it would cost heaps to fix, something about the movement in it I think. So I have it in my jewellery box now, and bought a cheap everyday replacement.
Im glad you are getting your special necklace clasp fixed. Sorry its such an expensive exercise.
Didnt do much today. Been heavy showers off and on all day here today. And lots of rain expected over coming days. Need webbed feet I think.
Unexpectedly had home modification guy here this arvo to complete hand rails, tap mods, shower mods, etc for hubby. Had a nice shower after he left. New mods are great.
I need a distraction though for coming weeks, I know that. I have 2 diamond paintings I am yet to start. Thinking I should drag one of them out and get started. Ive not done any since the one I completed just before my surgery. The one I sealed and framed in December.
I had a call from oncology today with apt for my next review. Its only 9 weeks away. Not sure why that soon, as was meant to be 3 months.
Hubby been very unwell today. Gastro, so maybe some 24hr bug. Did a load of washing. Needed to unfortunately, despite wet weather. Got clothes under cover and nearly dry, thanks to good breeze this arvo. In between heavy rain.
Holly has not been herself this arvo. Restless, disturbed, uneasy. Not sure why, unless she is picking up vibes from me? She seems fine otherwise.
Em π·

Hey Em, I love you and like to read your informative posts which are always so well written.
Iβm sorry Holly isnβt too good and I hope her down day soon passes and she returns to her loving self.
Iβm currently watching a show on SBS about a Romanian palace. Iβve been to Romania so am finding it very interesting. Itβs actually a beautiful country but I doubt that Iβll go again.
Big hugs

Oh Em...
I'll join you with webbed feet as it rained heavy here today as well, right at lunch when I had to duck out with my boy. Hair is a mess haha.
I'm so please home mods are progressing, sounds great!
I need to get back to my diamond painting, perhaps we could make a plan to do some together in nights when you have time?
It's good oncologist is proactive in your follow up but I can imagine slightly daunting but I'm sure it's so you don't miss out.
I'm sorry to hear hubby is not well, hoping it passes quickly...Holly too, yes probably in sympathy -they are so intuitive our due babies aren't they?!
I'm home tomorrow planning on dotting my I's and crossing my t's to present all things marketing to boss next week. Should be a productive day if I'm left alone to get it done. I'll be around if you feel like a chat. Going to get out of bath as I'm.looking a bit wrinkly. Love you more sweet Em ππΎπππΉπΈππ

Oh @Em - you need a FRANK conversation with your cowardly therapist, she's not very professional treating you like this. But if you're not wanting conflict... Just move on. Sad as we build this rapport with them π Maybe she identifies too close with you. I hope you find some help through this month. Have you connected with any of the Cancer Council Psychologists? they're free phone consults I accessed when mum got sick.
