Totally understand the "missing my psych" bit @Snowie 😔
I really need mine right now. Its been over 11 weeks since my last apt ... way too long. Especially at this time of year. I know she cant help it that her dad died and she needed to cancel my mid Dec apt at short notice. I know it wasnt her fault I could not see her in Jan because I was unavailable due to radiation traetment. And I know its not her fault that she is sick this week and had to cancel ... again. But sh*t ... its not my fault either! I feel like I'm being punished somehow. I feel maybe she doesnt want to be my therapist any more. Perhaps she thinks she has done all she can, and now I should be okay on my own. But I just cant do it on my own. I really cant. Why doesnt she see that. When I need her the most, both Dec and again now, she has let me down. I cant tell you how much that hurts, or how much it sets me back. I realise I may be thinking irrationally, but my tired mind and anxiety ravaged body, tells me otherwise.
@Snowie @Shaz51 @WIP @Appleblossom @Lee82 @Anastasia any others.
Em 😔

Em I totally understand. I feel discarded, cast aside, abandoned. In my time of need she gave up on me. Yes I know it is not her fault and she needs to put her family first, but those thoughts are still hard to live with.
No, it is not your fault hon, but it is hard to think rationally sometimes. It is hard to keep our thoughts from going to the worst case scenario. It is hard not to think that somehow it is our fault.
I just hope for your sake that you can get an appointment with your psych soon hon.
@Emelia8 😢

Emmmmmm it's so good to see you beautiful girl. Are you ok?
I just got home...having a quick bath and then couch time with bf. Took my boy shopping , he's very happy and now they are having KFC :nauseated_face: Put my necklace from Mum and Dad in for repair that the clasp broke over a year ago. They gave it to me for either my 18th or 21st so it's very special and very old lol. Almost had to take a loan out to pay for repair! Gold is expensive eek! But worth it to be wearing it again with Mum and Dad in mind 🌷
What did you do today?

You have enough reason to be upset and needing of counselling. Dont take any of it personally. Did she attempt to offer to squeeze you in sooner at first cancellation?
She may be out of her league. idk Are there any support groups around the cancer?
Sorry if I am too blunt. Hoping you get seen. Talk to online chat at Sane. I wish we could all have snuggle places.
