I rang at quarter to one. Couldnt wait till 1pm. But she was still on the operating table at the time. They were running a bit late with consults prior to surgery cases. They asked me to call back at 3pm at which time they will hopefully have a pickup time. 

Have you heard from your boy, and is he and your other son okay? And how about you .. are you okay?

I'm so glad to hear that gorgeous Holly is home safe with you @Emelia8 . Maybe not in the shape that you hoped, but she's home and the prognosis is good. With your unconditional love and care, she'll improve immensely over the couple of days and be your shadow once again in no time. You'll help each other recover with strength and resilience.

please give Holly a gentle cuddle and kiss for me - she'll hear me, as I'm such an animal lover.

Yes, both Holly and I have had a restful day.  Although the outcome of Hollys surgery was not as good as we could have hoped for, it has left her much better than she was prior to surgery. She is very sore and uncomfortable, but already I can see improvements to her breathing. Once the significant inflamation reduces, it should improve further.

How are you going? I recall you werent so good last time you visited.
