Re: 14th year house bound

Morning my angel,

No it is overcast and muggy, but still better than 40 degree's so i will nto complain.

I hope you are able to get the girls out side today to play and have fun.

Ah the bike, well i can't work on it because i broke the socket i need to pull the head apart, the socket just shattered yesterday afternoon, os i have to wait until my sunday drive to get another one.

I so wish you could help me, i am not very good at mechanic's, i think the term is "flying by the seat of my pants" Smiley Tongue, but i will persevere and get it done.

Take care my angel, i am having another quiet day, so i will be online most of the day.

Yes the very hungry caterpillar is still a favorite, you can buy toys, books, blankets and clothes. See your not that old. My girls have the book too. What a  lovely memory to have j.

Well after that I'm still smiling thanks Jacques.

Hope your having a good day.

Re: 14th year house bound

it was a beautiful day here the sun was shining all day. The girls went to the park and got to play outside. What a relief.

I did get a rest.

I hope you are ok j

Re: 14th year house bound

OMG Karen i am over the moon, that is great the girls got some time outside, i was worried they would have the whole long weekend indoors.

I hope they had fun, and got rid of some of the built up energy.

I am so glad you got some rest Karen, i know how presious some rest is, it may not be much, but it does help recharge the batteries.

I am ok Karen, i got about 30min sleep this afternoon, so i am greatful for that.

I did go out tonight and did some work on the bike, one of the bolts was so tight on the head i broke 2 sockets trying to get it off, i am down to my last one. so the head is pulled apart, the gearbox cover is off, the clutch cover is off, gear leavers, kickstart, and tomorrow i am hoping to start pulling the rear suspension apart.

I am so glad my angel, their is a smile on my face, you sound so good today.

Re: 14th year house bound

Hey Jacques I'm so happy that you've done some more work on the bike. Have you  silicone spray on the bolt and soak it. Another thing that might help is if you actually try and tighten the bolt just a little, might be enough to break the seal.I'm sorry you've broken 2 sockets.

Keep trying

Yes the girls sure have lots of built up energy, I don't know where the get it from.

Oh the girls thought your photo of goofy was really funny. Thanks j we all had a good laugh.
