@MJG017 sorry I crashed it.
I might have to check it out 😊.
Was hoping to wake up without the intrusive thoughts but it's all just hit me like a tonne of bricks. It's too early in the morning to deal with this sh!t. I'm searching high and low for that switch today 😂.
Awww Luna, I need cuddles with her 😂. At least she is putting a spring in her step 😂.

Hello @Ru-bee, I can't say it's a good morning for me. Today is an incredibly sad day and one that I'm not sure how to make it through.

Would it help to make a simple plan for today @Dreamy with some things that might help to support you through this day? Things like staying connected here, calling support lines if needed, maybe getting some fresh air, doing a craft or colouring, putting on a comfort show...
@MJG017 resting up today sounds like a good idea! What does an ideal restful day look like for you?

@Ru-bee I'm trying to stay connected here but also don't want to bring others down. Outside feels too overwhelming for me at the moment, I'm sitting on my lounge with my show on and i have my colouring here but I just feel so dissociated. Crisis lines aren't an option for me given recent things that have happened.

That's okay @Dreamy just do what feels okay for you. If you need a break today at any point you can take it. If you need to be distracted we can chat. If you need to just talk about how you're feeling for a bit and have someone listen we're here!
I know that today is not the right day for this, but if you feel able in the future I'd really encourage you to give feedback about the service and the recent experience you had. To me it sounds like it might have come from a lack of training or knowledge around trauma and is something that should be addressed by the service.

Thanks @Ru-bee. right now I'm not even sure what I need which makes things really hard.
I've thought about that and I've been trying to find the energy to do it.

Oh, it did sound like today was something in particular. It must bring back such sad memories for you today.
We had to get Ryker surgery a year ago for a lump he had on his side I was so worried, that I was just a mess after we dropped him off. So I can't even imagine how hard that must have been with your dog and how difficult those nemories must be. Sending you big virtual hugs 🫂
