@tyme - I'm preparing for a house inspection, trying to get a wasp issue resolved asap tomorrow and also starting to learn spanish (or more of it). 🙂
What about you?

Hey @WretchedKid ,
How'd the inspection go and the wasp issue? Erghhh... can't say I'm a fan of wasps. Bees give us honey, what do wasps do???
What else have you been up to lately? It's a bit freezing cold here. Only 10 degrees!

@tyme - It’s funny you should say that, as a bee stung me only last month, lol. I guess that’s why I wasn’t excited about angry wasps. Inspection went well; I survived.
Oh, that is cold! It’s getting colder here too. Next order of business is to get new warm clothes and a heater.

I want to get an electric blanket, but I want a good one. I find they are more effective for me than a heater @WretchedKid . Other times, I'm up and about so I don't need a heater. Although I have to say I'm wearing an Oodie at the moment and I'm feeling super warm @WretchedKid .
As for bees, I've only been stung once. It was this burning sensation and then I developed welts lol... but I still feel bees are pretty cute. Not sure I can say the same for wasps, nor their nests!
Australia is such a weird place... one country but we have all different temperatures.
Do you prefer warmer or colder months?

@tyme - I prefer colder months. I can’t stand too much heat. As for electric blankets, they would be nice, but I deal sometimes with moisture issues so it’s a bit of a hazard for me.
Welts sound awful! I was lucky to remove the stinger before enough venom got in. These wasps were pretty “friendly” until someone knocked the nest. Shame they’re dead now as they were pretty innocent overall.

Hey @tyme, how've you been? 🙂
Today I slept in, went shopping and now I'm gonna read a bit, then go to a tribute band show.
Tomorrow, I'm staying cocooned in bed with my laptop and playing a classic mmorpg from my childhood I'm getting back into. 😄
How about you? Any weekend plans?

I don't have anything planned for the weekend. It's mothers' day so I'm sure there will be a lot of people out.
Staying cocooned in warmth sounds lovely! @WretchedKid Why not? I find I want to do it a lot more in the winter months - just stay indoors.
What do you normally do during the week? Study, work, volunteer? Things that keep you busy?

I've been studying and volunteering lately. I'm trying to get a new job as my last one was a bad environment I had to leave. I do all kinds of things beyond that, tbh... I have so many hobbies, lol...
Yes, I love this time of year!
@tyme, what do you think you might do? Or what do you normally do on weekends?

I'm glad you have so many hobbies to keep you going @WretchedKid .
It's pretty cool that you can just keep going.
I tend to spend the weekend on the forums or with the kids because they don't have school. They are my nieces and nephew. I take them out. @WretchedKid
My niece stays over at my place on the weekend. So we hang out and she gets spoilt.
