Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Will be remembering you @Shaz51, I do hope Mr Shaz is able to talk about things, I feel a lot better knowing Mr D is under the care of a specialist.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Prehaps he could make a note as to whether these dizzy spells are related to when he takes PRN meds, when he gets up quickly or whether or not they happen if he turns his head quickly and in which direction - up, down, left or right @Shaz51. These things might be helpful for doc to know.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
You can google the drug and side effects - it could be dose dependent too @Shaz51 - side effects noticeable if he takes extra - or misses a dose and compensates by taking double next time. Could be something else too ... dizziness can be related to so many things.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
I can understand his reluctance in one respect. Continuity of care is often a key to good psych management. Might pay to check and see if pdoc 60km away is still there - seems to be quite a turnaround in staff in public hospital system @Shaz51.
How are you today?
