Re: Trying to stay Sane

Hi @Anastasia , thanks for your update, it was good to hear from you although no pressure to write. I wasn't worried, just aware you were quiet and sending wishes for your coping...

@Anastasia wrote:

I resigned today - what a relief - it went well, no hard feelings and my last day is the 18th of March, woot woot!

So pleased there were no hard feelings. Did you get the part-time job with your old boss?

I invested on my business over the weekend and have made some massive headway today with applications to council, location, signage, insurance, product and goodness knows so much, my brain is mush.

Dad is definitely watching over me!

Wow, this is amazing! Go you 🙂

And I am amazed too by your boy, so relieved he's doing well!

Yes, I did nothing on Saturday and it was great. (Oh - I did make my first ever apple and rhubarb crumble - am proud of myself as I suck at cooking.) On Sunday I managed to restore the house to its neat 'inspection' state, and am hoping to keep up to date with it for as long as possible. I brought out one of the 5 boxes of mess that I had hastily put in the shed, so this week I will work on that. Then at work yesterday I caught up on the paperwork, so all is good 🙂

Thanks for your kind wishes ❤️

Sending you lots of 💚 and good things, wishes for coping and sleep, wishes for your family and all your grief.

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Lots of good things happening for you @Anastasia , no hard feelings about you resigning, investing into your new business, you boy doing well and things seeming Managua with supporting your mum. Really pleased to hear all this!

Re: Trying to stay Sane

@Anastasia Your news about resigning and starting a business that will help community and allow your son to grow ... is AMAZING.  So pleased for you, and know you have what it takes. Praying your lives blossom.

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Dear @Anastasia , hoping that you're coping...it's a time of change for you, which you've wanted, but not the grief alongside it 😞

Really hoping your sleep might have improved a bit...

Sending wishes and 💚

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Thank you all precious family 💕

My boy had his booster and it has knocked him for six ☹️ day two sweats, aches and lethargy. Hoping tomorrow brings about improvement 🙏🤞

My business is moving along, only three more weeks at work, Woot woot.

Helped Mum today with various admin but necessary tasks for Dad and our little urns arrived so it just makes it all fresher if that's at all possible. Ordinarily I would have run every decision by Dad, this is the first time in my life that something so life changing is happening without him beings sounding board ☹️

At one of the places we attended today the beautiful girl had a butterfly ornament. She was such a sweetheart, I have no doubt the butterfly was Dads way of saying he's watching over us.

I'm training all weekend for my new business because from Monday I have put my hand up to do an hour shift before work to help someone out with their business,  which will in turn provide huuuuge insight for my own venture.

Excited, scared and everything all at once.

Sending all of you love and hugs and hoping life is being kind to you.

Squishy hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Hello @Anastasia

Wishing you the very best for your new venture.

Also pleased to hear, while everything has changed, that you and your Mum seem to be coping. And I can understand that feeling of protective and nurturing presence that you describe with regard to your Dad. I would think that it is similar to the feeling that I have with regard to my Mum.

With My Very Best Wishes
