Re: Self care- walking and cycling
Had a big melt down in our house this afternoon (over tv reception) so I went for a long walk. I needed to get out of the house before I joined the party with all the screaming and yelling of profanities. Managed just short of 7km. If I had seen how close I was before I stopped the counter I would have kept going to round it up. It great having mum and dad inlaw so close now. I can just walk out and not have to worry about the children.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
My goal for exercise post todays exam is
1. 20-30 min walk after dinner each evening.
2. Darling wants to go for an hour(ish) bike ride each morning before the children get up.
One of the benefits of having mum and dad so close by.
Feeling 😍😁 that she actually wants to ride with me. (Was too 'uncool' previously due to external influences).
Feeling 😲😨 about the 5am starts lol.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
LoL @Former-Member your post has put this thread back at the top of my feed and reminded me of the blood promise I made after my exam.
Well I managed 2 nights lol.
Darling has however flagged another attempt at a 5am bike ride tomorrow though so see how that goes.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling
LOL @Former-Member that would be a fail... again -
Darling had returned from the school run before I woke this morning.
You would understand how sad that is if you heard how noisy our morning routine is (Little people generated not adults)
(me that is 🙂 )
Alarm set to try again for tomorrow morning
