Making slow but steady progress in the back yard. Happy with our proposed garden bed layout and have made a start on putting the garden beds together.

Got some gardening time in today- yay! 🙂
Three of my "belated" tomato plants out. They're "Sweet Bite" cherry toms. I checked, and they bear in about 70 days, so with the growth that they've already got on them, I'll hopefully be picking them in March. That's late, but not too late.
Planted a bunch of pea seeds around the base of each one. They're to use as salad greens in 5-6 weeks time.
Still got to water the pot plants, they're looking a bit parched, but having a breather first.

Sweet Bite Cherry tomatoes @Smc Yum, very tasty they are...
I just hosed the aviary roofs (it's hot) - birds were very happy about that, they lined up for a light shower....

Yep @Shaz51 I'm so sad to see my Almond tree gone (cut down 1 week ago).
It died a few months ago, 45 years old it was (healthy until then).
The termites ate it from inside the trunk.
Now there will be no Black Cockatoos anymore (not ever) - they only came once a year (to my back yard), specifically to the almond tree (for the almonds).
Then they sat up high in the almond tree, tweeted & had a big party.
They splatted chewed almonds all over the ground - I loved seeing & hearing them.
Now the black cockies wont come anymore, because there is no almond tree to come for....
