Re: Self care by growing a garden

ohhhh @Smc , @Former-Member , @Former-Member , @Appleblossom , @Adge , @Former-Member , @Determined ,

ha ha  this first part is mr shaz`s wanting to get rid of all mum`s gardens -- argggggg

anyway mum is showing more independence these days which gives me mixed feelings

but  she would love more plants and more colour Smiley Very Happy

mr shaz does not want to encourage her

BUT , I would LOVE to do more xxx

Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Shaz51

It would be lovely for your mum to enjoy the garden for as long as she is able.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Former-Member

mum is unable to do her own gardening now outside

But I have been transforming her patio and carport into a gardening room

looks really nice but mum said it needs more colour

have a picnic table and chairs there

and a birdbath out in the yard

and she loves feeding the birds

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Are you using potted colour rather than planting in ground @Shaz51 ?

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Are you using potted colour,--- yes bringing them inside @Former-Member

planting in groundare still there but i need to find time to do the gardening , lots of weeds in there now

Re: Self care by growing a garden

As well as getting some more weeding done we were able to get some planting done today 🙌One of the bargain plants bought earlier this week along with some seedlings are now in situ in the front garden and have been mulched.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Making slow but progress on weed + weedy plant removal. Well ahead if what our green bin can handle.

Thinking especially of @Former-Member  and @Sheila  this morning.
