Re: Self care by growing a garden
I was given a white one at the end of June - same price as flowers from a florist - it is still in flower.

Re: Self care by growing a garden
Yeah, that's hard, @Former-Member. 😞
A lot of the old, well established plants in my parents' garden will probably be bulldozed when the house sells. My sister and I are trying to collect plants and cuttings in between everything else, but a lot has already died out, and we can't take everything.
Any chance you'll be able to take bits to grow in a new garden, or is there just too much else to do?

Hopefully asking for fine details means you've got enquirers with serious intentions to buy. x

@Smc the main produce from the garden at the moment is eggs. Chooks laying - found a nest in the hay in.the barn - 20 eggs. Mr D got some mowing done and I sprayed some pathways.

Re: Self care by growing a garden
I've covered most aspects of my problems in previous posts... My problem with the mental health system is like something I experienced on the work place a few years ago : all the new workers got inducted. Say 5-6 of us. We all heard the same stuff. The rules and guidelines were laid down. 8 weeks later the opportunity to work on a Saturday morning came up. Which meant I could exceeded my standard 38 hours a week and meant I was eligible for overtime / time and a half. which got explained to all of us new workers in the induction. (i need to much money as I can get) . And we all got offered to work on Saturday morning. But I was the only one who accepted the extra work. - despite not knowing if extra time would be apart of the deal is not - they said no because they did not know either... So I worked the extra Saturday. And the others moaned and groaned about wanting penalty rates before a accepted working a Saturday. And when next pay day came around. They all wanted to know if I got extra time or not. Which was explained to all of us in the induction. Perhaps I was the only one listening that day. Or not stoned. And of course. My pay slip Cleary said. Private and confidential! But they all wanted to know if I got overtime or not. Which they would assess if they worked next Saturday or not bye. And I avoided telling them or dodged the question or told a white lie. And they became extremely upset about it. To the point of harassing me. And arguments broke out. And they turned nasty! and then the boss says. No more working on Saturdays because of the workers arguing about it! Right. How messed up? We all had the same induction! All told the same stuff, at the same time, which explained everything, then they scrutinize, interrogate and put the spot light on me about my private and confidential pay slip. And then I'm made to look like the bad guy. Because I keep my private and confidential pay slip information To myself... And a few of the elder / senior workers got spiteful, vindictive and nasty about it. Making me feel very upset. And messing the opportunity for any of us to work Saturdays and get extra time. :my point being... It's kind of the same thing with all the mental health professionals. They've forgotten about what's written in the mental health act. And they do their own thing. And the innocent patient suffers greatly because of it!..
