Re: Self care by growing a garden

Thanks @Former-Member for planting info - have you ever grown Brussel sprouts ?

Re: Self care by growing a garden

No I haven't grown brussel sprouts @Sophie1 , the reason being I don't like eating them.

Hi @Shaz51  @TNX for callout of the dulldrums lol. Yay! Free avocado 👍manna from heaven 🤗 yum. I like using avo instead of butter (when they're not too expensive). Good jjob  doing your mum's garden, in this heat 😓😟 Hmm, Ground covers 🤔 maybe see what's doing well in your neighbourhood. I like succulent groundcovers; particularly pigface - but dont think they flower all year round. I did some potting myself yesterday 🌱🌿 all those cuttings i've collected. I get my pots from local Recycle TipShop 😊

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Autumn is probably my favourite season in the garden. Over the last couple of days I have planted some ranunculi and pansies in our under construction cottage garden.
