You can find music groups, sporting groups, craft groups, social groups, 'getting to know you' groups, groups aimed at learning or practicing particular skills - the list goes on!

@Former-Member I love your point about the Goo Goo Dolls song! Music so often reminds us of particular memories, or feelings. This is why it can be so powerful to use in therapy, but also just in our own lives.

It is important to note that in the area of mental health, music therapy is usually an adjunct to standard care. So it works best in collaboration with other supports.
